I don’t think a beta 2 has ever release within a week. Standard cycle is 4 betas spread 2 weeks apart and then weekly, usually in August.

Probably one of the most stable betas I've been on in awhile. Indexing completed after a week, battery and performance jumped back up . Hoping Beta 2 keeps that going.
Should we expect beta 2 Monday/Tuesday? Isn't there usually a 3 week gap between 1 and 2 because of WWDC taking a week of employee time away from the lab?
It was 2 weeks last year. Probably will be 2 weeks this year as well.

I reported 13 bugs in beta one, but by far the most annoying one is iPhone Mirroring hardly ever working, I hope they fix it tomorrow

That's such a throwback. I remember leaving work early to watch iOS 7 keynote (1pm EST). That beta 1 running could cook a steak.

There'll probably be a bunch of minor adjustments, maybe a few more apps that work in landscape, but I wouldn't expect any major new features to drop.
Not sure about new features but beta 2 tends to have a lot of changes from beta 1
Beta 2 is usually more unstable compared to beta 1 as well, so those of you using it on your main devices: brace yourselves.

So, Beta 1 has been really great for a Beta. But sometimes, my iPhone 16 Pro just: "nope" and need a restart. So i wish for some fixes, indexing bug fix and, well, that's about it.
With the direction of iOS 27 I don’t expect we’ll see betas unstable like iOS 26 etc. I guess it’ll be more than usable all the way to public release in September.

If you want to install Beta 2 asap, it might be a good idea to download the IPSW files for the current Beta 1 from Apple (while they are still available) and fully backup your devices before updating them to Beta 2. This way, should anything go really wrong, you will be able to go back to Beta 1.

Seems to be quite often the case where betas 2 and 3 are worse than the original beta. Let’s hope that with this year, that won’t be the case. My gut feeling says it won’t be.
The later betas being worse than early ones feels like a throwback to before public beta’s were a thing. Since public betas, which usually start at beta 3, I’ve never noticed subsequent betas worse than early ones

Beta 2 / 3 usually have been a little rougher. However, remember that Apple this year is focusing on under the hood / stability. With the level of smoothness for beta 1, I am actually thinking this year we'll get a much smoother beta cycle. This is a different cycle this year. In the past it was feature feature feature. This year some features, AI and overall stability.
