Guys, do you think there will be a beta 8 if it doesn't appear today? Isn't it possible that we're close to GM?

IOS 5 Beta 8 - Today???

Beta 1-2 18 days
Beta 2-3 17 days
Beta 3-4 11 days
Beta 4-5 15 days
Beta 5-6 13 days

It's now been 16 days since Beta 7. If we don't see a Beta 8 by Monday I fully expect the GM to be the next build. It's also entirely possible we will still see Beta 8 today.

I was just about to ask that if it's possible that Beta 8 will be skipped entirely and go right to GM?
that can definitely happen. if they dont release a beta by monday i think they will most likely skip an 8th beta and go to GM but no one knows. since we are getting closer going to GM might be their goal.
Another day, still no sign of a new beta. Looks like we could well be set for the Gold Master candidate if the invites go out next week for the media event.
The only thing I have found "wrong" with Beta 7 (as was the case in all the Betas) is that when using Home Sharing, if you go into Album view the artwork for the albums is fine for the first 8 or 10 albums, and then that artwork is repeated for all albums, which means it doesn't match.
When you chose an album, the artwork is fine on playback.
Methinks someone is looking for a reaction, as in "Boom! It's here" when it's not.
I've had iMZDL's Twitter open all night, and he's said nothing about the Dev Center being down tonight.

why be mad that there is no beta 8? That's good news. It means the GM is on its way and the announcement is soon and the iPhone 5 is finally coming! If we had a beta 8 that would only mean more waiting.....
It's because I go Offshore on Tuesday morning for 3 weeks, there is no chance of downloading 750mb of data on a rig lol
