Watching your review now :).

There's always idiots that come on and scream that they'll never touch an Apple device again over the slightest change, I've stopped caring. Sure sometimes there are problems but with this update all I have is stability, speed improvements and general polishing - all for free. So thanks Apple, enjoying the update and I hope others are too .

For free? Apple are merely attempting to get the o/s to perform something like as well as the old o/s which you PURCHASED along with your iDevice.

I have problems with iMessage, but only with one of my contacts (my girlfriend, which also got iMessage on). Tried a bunch of things, like reset network settings, delete and add contact again. Someone having the same issue?

So far I'm ecstatic. With iOS 7.0 my 5S was very buggy, and I threatened daily to buy an Android phone and be done with iOS for good. I had crashes often that would take me back to the home screen, mostly when using Safari. That hasn't happened since the update. Now it feels like a brand new phone and it is much snappier than it was with 7.0.

I'm thrilled that I can now tap an icon to launch an app before the animation has completely finished. That was extremely annoying in 7.0.

It seems as if we were testing the beta and 7.1 is the real release.

I'm on 7.0.4 and apps launch immediately with no animation. I switched that crap off.

If you mean you've turned on Reduce Motion, the launch time is the same as when it's turned off. All that changes is you see a fade between apps instead of a zoom.

What's changed is in 7.0 I'd tap an icon to launch an app and nothing would happen. So, I'd wait for the animation to finish and then I could launch the app. It still did the same thing with Reduce Motion turned on if I tapped an app before the fade finished. Now I can tap where an icon will be before I can even see it and the app launches. That is new.

Brought my iPad to work today and was using it fairly heavily. No problems to report. Safari was never really an issue for me and overall stability was good before too. Nothing to report as far as issues go.

I do appreciate the little UI tweaks we now get to control the look of the OS. I'm able to calm down the whiteness and sheen look that it had before. Now, with a few settings I feel iOS 7 looks like it should.

What can I say? I'm a happy iPad Air owner. :)

A friend using an iPhone 5 and I (5s) have both noticed a significant drop in battery life. Along with the other things I've mentioned this is really kinda getting me down. I had high hopes for this update after using the last beta.

Planning on doing a clean restore tonight to see if anything is resolved.

DFU restore gets rid of most of those types of issues. My first full battery test on 7.1 got me almost 11hrs of usage and over 13 standby.

I admit I was totally happy with iOS 7, most of that was to do with it not feeling snappy like it used to. But I was hardly angry and fed up with Apple and I know their commitment to continually improving and updating their hardware, so I just lived with it and I genuinely almost never had a crash on my 5S. My old 3GS is STILL working! My Dad uses my old 4S which after this update is running great. It was nothing more than a mild hiccup that (admittedly after quite a while) Apple has fixed. Give me one other OEM who can release updates to the quality and frequency for as old devices that Apple does? Plus I actually quite like iOS 7's design, while I would personally do some things differently it's a definite improvement over iOS 6 which was feeling very dated.

Here's an example, I'm a hardcore Window's gamer. Been gaming on PC since I was about 6/7 years old. I always built my own beastly gaming rigs. After using an iPod Mini then an iPod Video then iPhone 3GS>4S>5S I was sufficiently impressed that when the refreshed rMBP lineup came out I got one and haven't looked back. I used to laugh at OSX, now with the aid of being able to bootcamp I really enjoy it. With the discount I get through my uni myself and many other fellow students do convert to Mac and that really is Apple's future userbase (you should see our library during exam time - just a sea of glowing white apples ;)).

4 Hard Crashes in the last 24 hours since the update...

I like the whole iOS7.1 changes with the big exception that it keeps freezing. The only way I can get it back up running is to hold both power and home buttons for a long time.

Going to try a restore, but what the heck is this all about?

I know iOS 7.1 has just been released, but I will like to know what you guys think about it. Did it fix most of your bugs, and improve the responsiveness of your iOS device?

So far - great on any of mine devices, that is 4 (air, mini, 5s, 5). this is how it should work from day one!
