Does it ever occur to you that things you dislike may be liked by other people who also happen to be Apple customers??
Just seeing the settings screenshots side by side convinced me that the original design was easier to "work." I recognize that, even today, not everyone immediately recognizes play, stop, pause; but, identifying symbols work for me. The updated icons caused me to look into the color to decipher the function and I began looking at the words to see if that sped up comprehension. With the blue icons on a white background, I quickly understood that row's function and wasn't even reading the text.
In what ways ? The new Calendar can show me the year view but the old one could not.
Totally agree with this... like how they finally added a toggle for black & white grid view backgrounds in iTunes after everyone asked for it, and then took it away in the next iteration. Why? Apple has a great eye for UI design when they do it right, but sometimes I want some damn options. But a lot of things could be added to the settings menu to create options that would satisfy all users.
This is one thing that, despite being a huge fan of all things Apple, I've always disliked about them. Where is the customizability?
Why can't I choose in the settings menu whether or not a sound is made when you swipe to unlock? Why can't I pick the number of app icons on my screen, and shrink them down to fit more per page?
I totally understand uniformity and its benefits for a company. But I feel as though Apple could allow their users a little bit more flexibility to be able to make their UIs look them way we want them to look.
No preview pane in month view, agenda view is hidden under the search option

Completely agree and I also hate how they removed "shuffle songs" from the genre page.
I used to go into Rap and just shuffle they entire library. They need to to fix the music player app ASAP.
It's even funnier that my Android is faster than my friend's iOS6 on iPhone 5. ....And I am not Android biased either so don't go there.
Uh... Album view is under "More..." !
I think you can move the "Albums" icon to the bottom bar (for instance, replace the "Songs" icon). You guys obviously didn't play with the beta enough.
You are clueless pal. You obviously have no idea what we are talking about. Go play with your iPod shuffle for a while. Of course we know where the Album tab is. That is not remotely what this is about. The problem is they have replaced a great music app with one that looks and functions like it was designed by a third grader.

What blows my mind about the apple scrolling smoothness is that they pretty much nailed it from the very beginning. Im not sure if any android phone is as good even now.
Because it would be harder to optimize. If you force a lot more icons in one screen, it will take more time and power to render the screen. Imagine if every third party app icon needs to update dynamically, your screenful of icons will be *****, and people will blame Apple.
Swipe sound ? [shrug] It may or may not come back. Apple may want to reserve the juice or resources for something else. Or it could just be a b5 bug.
Not all options are good. Sometimes less is more.
Bro those are just examples. I don't necessarily want more app icons on my home screen. I'm just saying that there are a whole lot of different things in iOS that COULD be customizable if Apple would choose to make them so - and I don't see why they never do.
The photos icon is the lamest most unrelated bs icon they could ever come up with for a photo app. I mean what the hell is it? A psycadelic sunflower? Color wheel? No one that I've talked to likes it at all.
Then everything became ruined with schoolgirlish colors and the idea of "improving" things just for the sake of change. Look at the settings icon! - It looks like the little machines in American sinks!
It becomes more and more worse.
Doing the Chanel thingie with usage of black and white only, would have been stylish and beautiful.
Does anyone know anything about the data usage? I've heard that iOS 7 beta 4 uses a huge amount of data.
