iOS 8.4 Beta 1: Changes and Bug Fixes

What does the now playing screen look like on the 4s? Is the album art still cut off compared to the iPhone 5 or iPhone 6? Also has the music lock screen change or is it the same.
Ugg I'm disappointed that it's small, Apple could just make the spacing a little smaller to fit a larger album but don't expect them to put much effort for older devices.

Another improvement: I'm getting full bars on 3G in an area (college campus) where my 6 Plus barely managed one to two bars as of 4 days ago. Can't say for sure if my carrier did some upgradation or if it's the iPhone.

I have noticed a few quirks with the new app including constant crashing with certain iTunes Radio stations. I'm thinking the public might never see 8.4 honestly and Apple is just having us test the new music app before iOS 9 to really make sure its ready for primetime before September.
Or, the final build of iOS 8.4 will come after WWDC with the Beats/iTunes Radio hybrid service built in. This new app really reminds me a lot of the Beats app when I had the trial a few months back. Besides the bugs, I really like the new interface and glad Apple is finally updating Music.app. It just sucks that Beats will be baked in because unlike iTunes Radio I probably won't use it at all (if there is no free ad supported version). I'll probably just move back to Pandora free.

I would request everyone to post what device they're on, it helps in sorting out issues in a device specific way.
I doubt it'll be exactly like Beats. More like a mixture of both I'm guessing.

I simply predicted that the UI stutter will remain unchanged upon public release. That's it. Yet you got so angry. Calm the eff down.
Why don't you PM me when iOS and all Apple's default apps are butter smooth. I will send you few quids over PayPal.
Meanwhile, let me continue to enjoy my Air 2 and 5S and LG G2 at the same time.
I am not sure if I like it. Seems like a pretty heavy graphic and album art app. I personally don't use album art so most of my screen will be full with black icons. .

I’m sure Steve would have never allowed that, he was very dedicated to album covers.
He also didn't want a third party App Store in the beginning and was fighting it with tooth and nail. He wasn't always right and people need to stop with the Steve would have.
If Tim Cook released mobile me people would be saying the same stuff, Steve would have never, but guess what Steve did release that travesty.
Seems like we can finally delete cached music manually again, since iOS 8 you can no longer do this in settings-usage, unless the song was downloaded via the cloud button. Anyone with the beta can check if that's what the delete button actually does in the app or is it hiding the iCloud purchase?
Improvement: There is notable improvement in responsiveness with respect to left corner swipe page to reach your previous position action.
