Music app and Playlists

In the Playlists tab in the music app, under each playlist it shows how many songs and how many minutes for the playlist.

Is that new?
(maybe it is old and i had never noticed)

iOS 8 Beta 5 Bug Fixes and Changes

I'm noticing on my 5S the location icon is now constantly on. Is this a bug or normal?

Handoff is completely broken between my rMBP (late 2013) running OS X 10.10 DP5 and my iPhone 5s/iPad Air running iOS 8 beta 5. SMS does work a lot better now though... so there's that...

EDIT: As I'm posting this, it started working on my 5s, but intermittently. Not working on my iPad Air at all... Hmmm
 
Have they given any attention to the iPad music app? It's a severe downgrade to what's basically a blown up phone app. Compared to the completely tablet-tailored UI of the iOS 6 iPad music app I was hoping this would be a prime area of focus in 8.
 
I'm not sure if this was in a prior beta but if you search the name of city that has flyover you can hit the info button and you'll have the option for flyover.

how does one activate the SMS relay in this Beta? Or will it automatically happen when I upgrade my other iOS device to iOS8, and my iMac to Yosemite?
 
Yosemite DP5 has seen the iBooks icon become less curvy, has the bookmarks icon in iOS 8 also changed?

And, has the bright green used in Notification Center for Stocks been darkened like it has with Yosemite?

-I'm using Yosemite but not iOS 8 😉

I just noticed that when the flash is set to auto, this flash indicator pops up when the scene is dark. When I turn the camera towards the brighter TV, that lite icon went away and the flash didn't fire.

Was this feature available before?

Yea it was available before.
 
SMS from iPhone 5s and Macbook Pro both randomly splitting messages into 2 smaller messages. Message over half the allowed 160 character count, but still being split. Exact same message from 5s on 7.1.2 to same recipient was only a single message. If I make one long word (well over 160 characters), it goes through as a single message. Any sentence breaks makes it send as 2.

This was between AT&T (my phone) and Verizon (recipient) btw.
