Hi all,
First (gutted!) post... The black 32GB Wifi only showed as in stock and available for 24hrs delivery at 12:30 - placed the order straight-away. Went from awaiting allocation to order not yet processed...
Called an hour ago to be told that basically, the site didn't refresh quick enough and that my order won't be fulfilled...
Still haven't received a tracking number from currys . Does anyone know the courier there using? and whether you can ring them and just find the tracking number out for yourself?

They are using DHL
I called late this morning, said my order had been collected by DHL and i should receive a tracking number once DHL have processed it.
Still getting annoyed at no tracking number tho !!

I don't know mate. I am in the same boat as you. Called CS and the guy on the phone read me some script on his desk saying if you have a confirmed email and a receipt that you would receive it within three days and I didn't have a number yet as it was still to be picked up by DHL. I will just sit and wait it out I guess.

Well... after refreshing DHL Tracking page for the last few hours its just changed to

ok .. so I'm thinking that these 'tracking' emails that Currys keep referring to are imaginary! .. I'm just remembering that the same thing happened with my point and click camera I ordered from them in January! .. It just turned up on my doorstep with nothing more than the initial 'thanks we've received your order' email!!

Has anybody recieved a shipping notice from John Lewis, I ordered a white 32gb wifi at about 1 o'clock today, ive paid the extra for nominated day delivery and it let me select tommorow the 29th.
However I have just checked and it still says order processing but they have already taken the money out of my account.

Had the same robot phone me. Just hope they get themselves sorted and follow through on it. I notice that they are now contractually obliged to provide me with mine in 3 days following the final email I received with my receipt as we now have a contract so they will be being reminded of that in the morning or it's a new smartcover for compensation!

Think I'm going to turn the laptop off and do something productive for the rest of the night.
Tomorrow, Is going to be worse.. Don't think I will get much work done!

also ordered from JL today - for a pick up tomorrow thing. my current status is despatched. so things will be moving i suspect. best of luck with yours

Just spoke with Currys customer service. Despite phone call from them on Sunday saying the order would be processed and I would expect an email in the next 24 hrs I am now informed they are all out of stock and i didnt get one allocated. Mid April for delivery now.
I rang on Saturday and was told my order was accepted etc, then Sunday I was told that they are out of stock and should expect it within 28 days. Although today I have been informed by them that I was allocated my items and they've been sent to the courier... not that ive received a tracking number..
.Who knows...?
32GB 3G Friday 18.30! I haven't cancelled yet but will wait a couple of days and see
