I did the same with mine ordered with my UK debit card and got it sent to bundle box. Only issue I had was with my bank being cautious and blocking my card to begin with but a quick phone call to them sorted it. I was worried I would have the same issue again when they came to take the actual payment rather than just the authorisation but everything went through fine.

Tracking says it just left china this morning so hopefully it gets to them by Sat and then should be in my hands next Wednesday.

Just checked on apple site - invoice is there stating paid yesterday :)

Will check tomorrow, but know from past it takes a few days, however hoping it wouldn't of got this far in shipping process if there was an issue...

So just got to get to bundlebox on saturday!

bundlebox?

i am trying to order an ipad direct from apple using my bundlebox address.

if anyone has done this can give me some advice would be grateful

so questions: 1. did you put your bundlebox address as both the shipping and BILLING address.

which card did you use to get it to go through.
i am trying to use a uk natwest debit card., and yes i do have enough money in my account its just i cant get it to go through.

1. Yes you do need to put it as both shipping and billing address. Apple won't accept a billing address outside the US.

2. You need to phone Natwest, they are likely blocking the transaction thinking it is fraudulent. If you confirm it isn't then they should let you make the transaction again and let it though. I had the same issue with Lloyds TSB and one phone call sorted it.

Is anybody worried now that Apple have started cancelling orders that go through these international shipping services?

I was worried especially as Bundlebox were confident that the orders they had placed using the buy for me service were fine but those that ordered themselves (like me) might have there orders cancelled.

But mine has now been shipped and is with UPS in ANCHORAGE so theres not much Apple could do now.

what have i done!!

i just spent some random amount of money that i dare not even work out how much

i just pre-ordered a 3g 32g ipad and am thinking i am utterly stupid as its likely to be released here at the same time

the red mist descended

time to calm down and think

yes thank you it was exactly this..

now i need to change my order though.. jeez.

omg, i am having a heart attack now,
in my haste i used a guest account to check out not my normal apple id.
now i need to change the order, how can i do this, and is this likely to cause apple to tell me to tae a running jump when they realize the bundlebox address.???

I'm a web developer and designer, but I don't need to get my hands on one at such fast pace.

It's only a few more £s and I have a customer pushing hard who has a great Intranet idea for it's use. Plus my grandson will get to use it he's only three and a half already a wiz on the touch, he's going to love the ipad. This will be worth the extra expense alone.

The only problem I can see will be getting it away from him.

Ah yes, the distinguishers, my clients are mostly businesses and alike, but I also code content management systems.

So we are to expect pre-orders for the EU tomorrow right?

Why not the 24th? They did say late April.

Just realised that you'll need to use your charger with the iPad... or get one since it's 10W and the iPhone one isn't 10W iirc and you're going to end up with a US adaptor, so you'll need a travel adaptor.

The iPhone charger will work fine it will just take a bit longer to charge.

I said pre-orders, tomorrow marks three weeks from the rumoured 24th release date.

I know - what stops them from starting pre-ordering on the 24th instead of earlier? It'd be nice if they did but hey, this is ShApple.
