Does the cellular one have big antenna bands like the Airs? Or are there no visual antenna bands on the cellular pro? That might have influenced my decision on cellular or not.

The cellular version has the same antenna bands as previous cellular iPads.
The band is black for the SG model and white for the other colours.
You have the apple pencil as well correct? If so, I'm curious if you have tried it with another apple device such as the Air 2?
Got mine for pick up today. REALLY disappointed the pencil wasn't available today.
Just got the iPad Pro 128GB Cellular for in store pick up. BUT, why is the keyboard and the pencil not available yet??? That is the main reason I'm getting the iPad Pro!
If i recall correctly NO it won't work, the Pro has a particular display for that.
Conbsider also that is called Apple Pencil for iPad Pro.......

This is insane. I am only interested because of the Pencil and it's not available at launch at all. Which means I have zero reason to buy this thing now. 3-4 weeks! What a terrible launch plan.
Was it available for immediate delivery when the thing first went on sale? They obviously didn't correctly account for how many people were going for the stylus. Or they did and set this up deliberately.

Man I would have been so pissed if I didn't get mine. I woke up at 02:30 EST stayed awake until 03:10 refreshing iPad Pro site. Went back to bed to try again in the morning. I woke up a little after 07:00 and saw it went on sale about 03:14. I used Apple store on my iPhone and saw I could pickup today instead of Friday. Bought the 128GB Space Grey Cell mode and will pick up at 10:00 at the Cincinnati, OH Kenwood store with case. 
Of course Apple will really screw me now. MBP 15" with skylake will be announced today to really kill my pocket book

I am in a similar boat, have to admit I would like one though... But I need to justify it versus the next Apple Watch as I am also buying too many devices every year...Wow, looking at your sig, I think you're right!
If your stuck with one device a laptop is a MUCH better option IMO. But different strokes you know. Great second device.
Any reviews in yet? I guess WSJ, Engadget, The Verge etc should have been playing with it for about one or two weeks already.

That pretty much sums up my issue with the iPad Pro. It's a sweet device, but until the software is there, it's really just a bigger iPad, yet they charge what amounts to the price of a decent laptop. It'll take at least a year for the software to catch up, maybe even more since it won't sell anywhere near as much the other iOS devices, so it'll have lower developer priority. By the time the software is there, we will probably be looking at the iPad Pro 2, assuming it doesn't flop so hard that Apple pulls the plug. I somehow doubt that though. An Apple flop is still better than what most other companies consider a huge success. But where I'm concerned, I'll just get that nice 1440P 165Hz IPS monitor for my new gaming rig instead and come back in a year when I might be feeling the itch for something new.

Is the Pencil at least available to try at the Store? My nearest store is an hour's drive and I don't want to go there only to find out I can't try out the pencil

Ordered the pencils and keyboards 3-4 weeks already in the US?) but will keep my eyes peeled for store availability and cancel the order if the timing works out. Nice to have a Smart Cover for when the keyboard isn't necessary. CAN'T wait for my wife and I to get our hands on them.
You are opening up a can of worms with this question. There are several explanations and lots of conspiracy theories around this, but none has been proven to be 100% accurate or confirmed by Apple.

Woke to see that they aren't avail in store locally, but could get it Friday. Went thru the process and added a couple Apple gift cards.. by then shipping had slipped until 18th-20th.
