How did you cancel and how long did it take for money to process back through??

I simply went to my order and chose to remove an item from the order. In about an hour I received an email indicating they removed the item. Since they hadn't shipped it yet I don't believe my credit card was ever charged.

Those who are getting the iPad Pro, will you also get Apple Care Plus?

What if you drop the oversized iPad Pro and shatter the screen?

For that possibility, I'm getting AC+...I love that they advance ship a replacement at no extra cost when you have a problem. I never have to leave the house to get service.

I cancelled through the mobile B&H web site on my 6S+...there was an option to "modify/cancel" my order. I got a confirmation e-mail about 5 minutes later. Easy.

Waste of money without pencil and keyboard.
Inventory screw ups mean no pickup of prepaid orders for pencil and keyboard. No idea when coming stores say.

Hmm weird when signed into my account there's no order showing up so emailed and got an instant response. Apparently my local Best Buy has one for pickup today I may order

FYI, if you are planning on using the iPad with Verizon scroll through all the page info after you click "skip engraving". They hide the free Verizon SIM near the bottom. If you don't look at everything you will miss it like I did and now I have to get one through Verizon (and they will probably charge me or try and get me to activate it right away). Apple's website can use some changes. If you skip the engraving at the very bottom of the page is a big green button that says "Add to Bag" with the price but like I said, it is easy to just click that and miss the whole Verizon SIM requirement.

Apple Sim doesn't have an option for Verizon.

That is correct. You need a special Verizon sim. If your order hasn't shipped they can possible add it (my coworker got it added) but after the fact you have to get it directly from Verizon and they usually make you activate it right then.

I picked up my iPad Pro at the Spokane store today. It's a good thing I ordered on line. The Spokane store DOES NOT have any on display, and you cannot just walk in and buy one. For today, at least, you have to order on line. Then you can request in-sore pick-up and get it same day. I can return it until January 8.

Just out of curiosity I asked about the pencil. They do not have any, even for on-line order at the Spokane store. Even the so-called "smart cover" cannot be bought off the shelf. On-line order only, then you can pick it up, as they do have stock.

I'm going to set it up now and play with it.

Store here had no iPad Pros on display, no cases out, nothing. If you weren't like us you wouldn't even know it launched. It seemed like the launch surprised the stores and it just seems so thrown together at the last minute.

Yes! Check Amazon, but be careful, because many of the cases and covers I saw are shipping out on November 30th
By the way, for those of you who don't have one yet,
I just saw it on Amazon with an estimated delivery date of November 16th

Super lame... I got to the Apple Store at 10:11am and two large lines are made just for pick up (45-60 min wait time.) No pencils or keyboards were even sent to the store. No display models was a tad annoying too. Complete #FirstWorldComplaints... But still this was pretty lame Apple (and this is the best Apple Store around me.) Hopefully when I open the iPad and tinker with it tonight it will be worth it.

Went to order online and noticed that it was available for pickup from my local store, so I went and picked it up... No Apple Keyboard, they said 3-4 weeks! What? How does that even happen? They said that they were selling a bunch of them and were almost out. Really liking it, I just hope apps get updated soon to take advantage of this crazy screen!

Apple is getting worse, not better. But I'm sure everyone has been noticing that.

Yup, noticeable decay in quality and attention to detail. I think part of the problem is that Apple is expanding its product line, their attention to spread over more products. They were a better more focused company when they had a smaller number of products to maintain and update continually. I'm not say Apple is doomed for failure, I've just noticed a slight difference,

On a separate note I visited the second Apple store in my area just now, and they said that they're expecting the Apple pencil tomorrow. I would take this with a grain of salt though.

I agree about the "decay". This whole release was poorly managed; the lack of the pencil merely highlights the comedy of errors.

The pencils are coming from China and in HK also the Pencils are delayed. I can't imagine when the stores in the US will get stock.

Just picked mine up from the Brea Apple Store (iPP 128 LTE + Smart Cover). Place was packed like usual. I saw several iPP's heading out the door. No displays, no pencils, no smart keyboards.
