Yep true though... I see it coming that the pro will be for sale on 6th of november instead of 11th of november... It seems more likely that they begin selling the pro on a friday instead of a wednesday..

I agree. Target usually begins selling it after/the day of release. So it wouldn't make sense to put all of them on display and tell everyone who comes in for 3 days that they can't buy the things on the floor. "Hey can I see the box?" "Sure." "Can I buy it?" "No." That's not how they work at all.

was said apple store training is for the 6th or has to be completed by then so it would make sense with the 11th release

I don't think that's confirmation in itself, but I'll take it as a data point. Thanks for that.

Work at Target in an NJ store. Had some free time to search for the iPad pro in the system- why not?

According to the system here, the set date for the iPad pro is Nov 8th 2015. That likely means that the overnight team here will set it the night of the 7th into the 8th, meaning the release date is November 8 the latest.
Funny how pissy and weird people get over your find.

The RUMOR is that Apple is going to release on the 11th. RUMOR. No one knows that and the sources don;t have certain or reliable info. That doesn't mean it won't happen, but there is no reason to put certainty behind the 11th.

Target might have entered the 8th randomly for that file, or they have the actual date, or that is somehow a false image/file.

If Apple training ends on the 6th, I bet it sells on the 6th. Maybe not, but that would make sense for retailers to be selling it on the 7th into the 8th. Your assertion of the 8th plays into Apple's 6th as a cutoff date for training in order to sell... why sit on their hands for 5 days? Why not train up to the 10th? I saw them training in the locked glass the morning of releases in the past; they will do the same this time.

i'm dubious.

Glad to meet you dubious, I'm Tom.

I love the easy ones.:D

Anyway, I'm not sure anyone is even going to buy these. They ARE, very expensive. Almost like an experiment from Apple.

I don't know.

If you don't know if anyone is going to buy one then look at the next thread asking if anyone is going to buy a iPad Pro. 60.9% of the 138 respondents say yes. One of them is me. So yes people are going to buy them.

You might also look at the "What configuration are you going to order" thread, as almost all respondents there are ordering one, and take note of the configuration they want. A goodly number plan on ordering the 128 GB with cellular data. This is the most expensive model, so price is not going to keep too many from ordering.

I actually hope that not TOO MANY want them on the first day, because that improves my chances to get the one I want.

This is a rumor same as all the others, (nothing, wrong with that, :) ) personally I was thinking the 6th for release, but Apple would have announced pre-orders or orders for it this past week I feel... Either way, I doubt it's going to be much longer before they are out.

Kal.

I'm kinda hoping for in-store pickup so I don't have to sit and wait for UPS/FedEx. I can actually just walk in when I'm able too. Lucky for me the store isn't too far at all though.

Target has never had an Ipad in stock on Apple's release day in my area. That is all.

And it is November 11th confirmed by BGR on Yahoo News.
