One thing I realized right now is mines are shipped by UPS ground. I didn't pay shipping fee at all. Anyone knows how long it gonna take?:confused:

they told me 3-5 days just now on the chat (after it is shipped)
 
I got my macbook air via ups ground from macmall in just over 24 hrs from when it was shipped. I'm in pennsylvania. They ship out of memphis, which is the ups hub.
 
I was one of the many that waited in that phone queue. I waited for about an hour and gave up after that. macmall is lousy. you would think they would staff enough people, but no, the management there is just too stupid.

I spoke to MacMall this morning and apparently the call center was affected by the earthquake in Japan Friday morning.
 
Then I think I have to wait at least til tomorrow.
I didn't pay $10 and mine is on UPS ground. Not Fedex overnight.
 
I'm annoyed with macmall at the moment. They charged me $32 for fedex, claim it's going to be engraved, and haven't shipped anything yet, even tho I got my order in at 9am EST friday, and didn't order engraved.

Yes. Mine shipped Friday and spent the weekend sunning itself (and allowing the glue to dry) in Memphis.
 
My 64gb white 3g, ordered at 8am fri, has a ups ground shipped status of 3/11. Since then Ups has not confirmed the tracker online. Checked an hour ago and still no details are posted for the tracking number emailed to me by macmall early sat morning. The reply from ups is "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later." I don't think ups would hold something this long without at least acknowledging that they received the package at their facility. This is why i'm starting to worry. Macmall told me to give it one more day, but quite honestly i'm not optimistic.

For those of you who said "tracking is not available", do you mean that you haven't received a tracking number from macmall, or do you mean the tracking number provided is not currently tracking?
 
the took the engraving off my order, but now it's gone from "in process" to "backordered". If it doesn't show some movement soon, I'm cancelling.

I got my cancelled email from them.. good thing I didn't stick with them, they had a iPad (not iPad 2) reserved for me.

Safe to say, I am not doing business with them ever...
 
I just noticed my "order date" reset to today as well. That's great customer service. I'm calling them tomorrow, and if I have a 3-4 week wait ahead of me, I'm cancelling.

this morning it has been cancelled completely.
no answer no nothing.

they have however still got a $829 Auth held on my card
not happy.
 
Status update

My UPS status updated this morning from "no details of this shipment" to "A label for this shipment has been created, but UPS does not yet have possession of this shipment. Once we receive the shipment, the tracking status will be updated." Apparantly Macmall is not being honest when claiming 3 days ago that it shipped and my cc had been charged. As of this morning no charges have appeared under macmall.

What kills me is they send me "personal" order updates, but won't reply to my emails. When I wrote to complain that it was listing as "engraved" they didn't respond, they just deleted my old order and submitted a new one.

Congrats to those of you who already have it shipped or shipping! I'm still waiting, and trying to pinpoint when to expect it.

I ordered 2 64GB WiFi-only iPads (one white, one black) on Friday launch-day morning (March 11) @~11:30 AM, along with 2 smart-covers - with regular shipping.

At the time, I was told that stock was coming in on Saturday, and that the first batch would be shipping out on Monday (March 14).

It's now Tuesday (March 15), and my iPads are still back-ordered. Smart Covers shipped though, and should be here tomorrow.

I called MacMall this morining, and was told that the iPads should ship on or before March 30th. However, MacMall could not tell me where in the queue I was. Considering that people who ordered just an hour before me have already gotten their iPads, I'm feeling a bit frustrated. Anyone in a similar situation? Anyone told anything different?
 
I ordered my 64GB WiFi Black around 10AM Eastern on the 11th. The Smart Cover has already shipped, though the iPad is still showing backordered. I was originally told it would ship the following week or week after, but when I called about 3 hours ago I was told it wont ship until around 30 April! I can only assume I had someone on the phone that doesn't know what they're talking about...definitely calling back in a few hours.

I still have a $612 auth on my card very annoying been cancelled for 2 days now WTF ? :mad:
