iPhone 12 Apple Leather Case Corners Popping Off: How Common is this Issue?

I don't have a problem with the case popping off, but I did take the case off for the first time in like a week and I noticed it leaves a magsafe ring on the iphone from the circle on the case, similar to what the magsafe charger is doing when used.
Anyone else have this issue? I mean, I was able to clean it off with a cloth, but I didn't expect the case to leave a ring on the phone to begin with. Not sure if it could get worse in the long run. Something to watch out for.

I installed a back-side film on mine because of that. The film is thin enough that cases still fit properly.

I guess I'll go with glue or a small corner cutout of double-sided adhesive tape.
you could try to add a skin to the edges to marginally thicken the phone maybe?

Weird question but for people having this issue is it possible it’s some variance in the shape of the phone that only makes a difference for cases sticking that are thin like the apple ones?
This was frustrating to hear. I was wondering this when I saw the case, I haven’t received my phone yet.
Apple - on line. I also ordered the attachment for CCards and cash - that was back ordered. Once that arrives I’ll return them both. I’ve missed too many calls because of it turning on the silent mode.
So I didn't have any problems until yesterday. I dropped my phone from the sofa to the floor and that little 2 ft drop made the phone pop out from the case some. Not completely out but I had to push the phone back into the case. It makes me wonder what would happen if I accidentally dropped it from higher than the sofa. I have a feeling it wont protect much from higher falls.

It has happened to me a few times after having it in my pocket for a while, but i love the look and feel of it too much to send it back.
A strip of double sided sticky tape in the bottom of the case has solved it for me.
I intend to keep it in its case until next year when I will sell it in hopefully pristine condition.

Is the silicone case (I have navy for the 12 pro max) common to slipping off? Mine keeps dropping down at the top left and catching the silent switch causing me to miss calls. I'm going to pick another up from the apple store on friday and send this one back. Any joy with the later revisions of them?
It boggles my mind that people have to resort to adding glue or double-sided tape to their expensive phones so it stays inside a case, or placing something thin between the back of the phone and the case to prevent the MagSafe "burn-in" ring from appearing.
I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and I’m now on my 2nd blue leather case. The bottom corners keep popping out! I have gotten both of them from the 5th ave Apple store as in store pickups.
I like the feel of the leather case but I keep running into this issue. At the end of the day I don’t feel like my $1200+ phone is going to be protected by this case so I’ll likely be returning it. I’m not happy about it but I’m glad to see I’m not the only one running into this problem.

Had no issues with either my black leather or black silicone case for my iPhone 12 Pro Silver... so far so good
As far as I know, still no one who has experienced this issue has gotten a replacement cases that doesn’t do it. I still think all have this defect, but some users don’t experience it because they put the phone in their pocket differently or wear different style pants.
