Went from NH to The Cape and ZERO issues, unlike when I came down here a couple weeks ago. I don’t get it. Full service the entire time

You running iOS beta 14.3??Went from NH to The Cape and ZERO issues, unlike when I came down here a couple weeks ago. I don’t get it. Full service the entire time
I am on 14.2.1.You running iOS beta 14.3??
I don’t believe it’s a hardware issue either. Not all iPhones on Verizon or other carriers have this problem. My 12 Pro works perfectly. Haven’t had any connectivity issues since purchased on launch day.I am on 14.2.1.
I am CONVINCED it’s a software issue.
I was on 14.2. Had issues. Then days later, no issues.
I was then on 14.2.1 and all the issues were back. Now, weeks later, I have ZERO issues.
it’s a communication issue. It’s not a ale to switch seamlessly from tower to tower. Example.... lost service from one tower while I was legit UNDER a Verizon tower (in a nerd. I can spot the difference between Verizon and other towers. Not as important now as 3G is gone. But they still use the towers)
Of note, there seems to be NO WHERE IN NE with regular 5G. Just a couple of cities with UWB. So I have 5G off
Agreed. My phone is working perfectly now. MUCH Better service than my iPhone X.I don’t believe it’s a hardware issue either. Not all iPhones on Verizon or other carriers have this problem. My 12 Pro works perfectly. Haven’t had any connectivity issues since purchased on launch day.
Yeah, that was the link that brought me here seeing if others have the same problem.Looks like this finally got picked up by press:

iPhone 12 dropping service an issue with multiple carriers - 9to5Mac
iPhone 12 dropping service unexpectedly seems to be a growing issue for users as more of the latest-gen smarphones from Apple are in the wild.9to5mac.com
No, the eNB/gNB tell your phone what to connect to, the phone doesn't really get a choice. That is unless you're using some sort of software to lock EARFCN/PCI/Frequency band. This may be a dumb question, but is it possible that the phone “learns” the connections/towers over time?
The woman I spoke with at Verizon was adamant it was a software issue with Apple and nothing she could do. I finally had to tell her, Ma'am no one knows what the issue is and if they do they aren't telling us! IgnorantBad news, replacement phone number 2 is back to having the issues after a week of excellent performance. Verizon now has backtracked from their previous claims it was a “device issue” to now saying it’s an iOS issue and that there is nothing they can do.
