What do you care. You are slapping an ugly case on it. It’s the same gold from previous years.
A) What a chore to go through life constantly feeling the need to crap on other's enjoyment of things.

B) As mentioned by others, the color of the camera lenses and the square show through on the back, and can either clash or complement a case. I don't use garish ugly cases. I tend to use fine leather cases, or otherwise understated and minimal cases, of which the color of the camera square can be used to complement and look classy, or look awful, depending on how things work. Also, occasionally I use a clear case that shows the color in its entirety...and I also sometimes go without a case if I'm not walking out and about.

Went with white/silver and it's clearly the best option. Absolutely stunning. Classic Apple. Love it.
will you, or did you lol, post pics? heard the white was super bright this year, would be interested to see more pics.

word i’m just too lazy for that lol. easier to just chill and let ppl vibe however they want- long as nobody’s getting hurt.

So glad I ended up going with the Desert Titanium. I have the natural titanium 15 Pro, and I like it quite a lot, but I really liked the look of the Desert in the Apple photos, but some of the videos at the hands on area really made me question things...and I was very much on the fence when I pre-ordered.. Looking at these photos, plus a lot more of the review videos from Wednesday, I think I made the right choice. I also really liked (and like in these photos) how the gold would look in cases, as I'm a case hound...the lake green silicone looks awesome, and I think it'll also look great in my blue leather Andar, as well as a dark brown leather case, which I'll probably get from bullstrap here shortly.
Gold with black/brown leather will look great!

She’s here and she’s gorgeous!

I've also noticed that safari is not optimised for the larger screens, it just extends the grey area at the bottom between home bar and search bar, something feels off and I'm not sure what's going on.

I'm sorry but this is just not acceptable.
That’s…concerning.

Can any other pro max users confirm. Do we not get any extra vertical space in safari for content?! That’s kind of one of the reasons I was looking forward to the 6.9” size. Hopefully Apple eventually gets their **** together and lets Pro Max users fit more content on screen across the OS.

I had to look closely but I think there’s a little extra space. To me it looks like the gray part in question is the same size as on my 15PM.

Here are two quick shots of my 16 PM in Desert titanium vs my 15 Pro in natural titanium. Getting used to the big phone, and it definitely is big. I like the extra screen real estate and larger media, but honestly the very best thing about the bigger phone is the typing experience. Massive reduction in typos.

Camera button is way too slow.. clicking photo app and taking a photo is 3x faster..
Not much change comparing to 15 pro max

I have to say…this was the quickest the excitement of a new phone after unboxing wore off as far back as I can remember. This is coming from a yearly upgrader. Contemplating just sticking with the 15 PM one more year.

Couldn't really decide on color until the last minute at pre-order time and I think now that I've had more time to look at photos I picked the worst color: natural titanium.

Desert titanium is looking a lot better in person based on these photos. I would have gone with that in retrospect. If not that then the black titanium. Black is usually my favorite but I was worried about scratches and chips being really noticeable.

honestly i absolutely hate my desert titanium. i was SO HYPED about it and ran to preorder it. it's so dull and mid. my wife opened hers (same color) and i was convinced it was a natural titanium that looked weird, it was so disappointing. i'm 100% returning mine. i wanted a real bronze/gold and this is like if you took iPhone 5/6 Champagne and made it lifeless. you made a better choice.

the new black looks sleek from the picture posted in this thread. because i'm on the Apple Upgrade Program, i know returning is going to be annoying. maybe i just keep the Blue Titanium another year.

Still do not know of I shall unbox white or desert. I will sell the other. Have them for whole day and still did not touch them.

Ordered Desert first, then cancelled and ordered White. In-Store pickup today, but I keep neurotically going back and forth on which one I want. I see one good photo of the white - ooh I want the white! Another good photo of the desert - ooohh I actually want the desert! And vice versa.... Hard decision. I'll see them in person in a few hours and hopefully that'll make it easier to make a final call.
