I’m guessing no confirm email about shipping? It just showed up out of the blue?Got in the updated 2.5 buttons today from Caudabe. Very nice, no rattle, tight fit, ultra clicky, made the ole Sheath much better. Tried to get some pics side by side with the 2.3 buttons. The bases seem a little larger and it's possible the buttons are a little fatter. My digital caliper is at my place down south so I can't measure them at the moment.
Wonder if all Caudabe cases will now take the 2.5 buttons?
Notice the wear marks on the backs of the 2.3's that have been in my Sheath for the past 2-3 weeks

Actually, I did get an email that something had shipped about a week ago.
Had no idea what it was though.
Same I was running the Ghost and it was killing my pinky. Once I switched over to The Apple Silicone like butter.
It’ll be interesting to see how you do with silicone over time. In my experience, as the surface wears in, silicone is just as greasy, if not worse, than some aramid (depending upon the coating used).
Caudabe cases and replacement buttons arrived for my 17 Pro!
First up, the Paragon with silver replacement buttons. Original buttons had no rattle and while the replacement silver buttons are the 2.3 variety, they've got zero rattle too.
Next up is the Synthesis Frosted, also with 2.3 replacement silver buttons. Same experience, no rattle from the stock buttons or replacements.
And finally the gray Sheath with Celestial Blue 2.5 replacement buttons. The stock gray buttons had zero rattle, but they included a set of replacement 2.5 Gray buttons as well, just in case.
All the cases fit perfectly, don't have any weird seams, and no button rattle. My case buying is officially done for this phone (unless Caudabe releases more colors I want).

I would take the top 2, frosty looks cool with silver phone, sheath looks like it's been painted with stucco.

Yes, you can see a slight seam, but not like the Sheath.
we need a case with the carbon fiber the sector had. Sure the carbon was slick af’ but it did not smudge whatsoever. Almost like it had a film over it

Dbrand are shipping black plateau skins with Tank orders from today and a skin to all shipped orders to disguise the camera cutout alignment issue.
I think I'm happy with that, I'd actually thought of doing this myself as I have a black matte plateau skin that I ordered along with a couple of clear matte ones from XtremeSkinz, so hearing that this is their 'remedy' I might put the XtremeSkinz one on tomorrow.
The only case I don't think it'll go well with is my frost backed Supcase Beetle Grip, but there'll be no issue with the Sheath and might actually look good with the open cutout on my Enzo. (As long as the plateau edges don't show.)
I fully expect some scoffing at this offered 'fix' for the alignment issue but I'm willing to give it a go before dismissing it.

At first blush, the Paragon. Part of that is the way the front is raised at the top and bottom but dips down on the sides. And the back is slick, but the sides are just the right amount of grip.
I love the Sheath, but not sure I'm sold on the darker blue buttons yet. But the case as a whole, I like it.
The Synthesis is really nice, but I haven't had it on much yet. Just to check the fit. But it reminds me of my favorite cases for phones ever back when Supcase made a case that was a lot like this (way before Magsafe). Then they stopped after years and started making ugly tank-like cases.
Even through there’s a seam on the Sheath at least with mine it’s a smooth.
I have a DBrand 17 Pro Ghost case that I got for free(don’t ask how) that I’m giving away for free, you pay shipping. Was used maybe for a week before I switched to the Apple Silicone. Don’t see me using it.

I know a lot of people don't like what they did with the camera bump but that's actually my favorite part. It doesn't wobble and when you set it down you're not setting it down on metal but soft leather. It just feels nice.
The Apple 2m USB-C cable fits fine.
The button quality still stinks compared to Andar.
The camera control button could be better. It works but it could feel better around the edges.

I like what they did with the pump for the Pro. This looks good on the Air.
