where? 5m nah

you believe that?
Many drop tests are flat drops onto plywood. If that’s the method used by Caudabe, then 5M seems plausible. Of course, that doesn’t tell you much of anything about real world protection, which is why I’ve always taken claims of “military” drop tests as pure marketing. Better to look at the case in hand and come to your own conclusions. Either that, or throw it off your roof to find out for yourself. 😆

Here’s a reply from the director of product at Mous concerning the drop testing: https://www.reddit.com/r/Mous/s/bCuqz7WdWq

The first copy of this Pitaka Ultra-Slim case I received was defective with a loose upper corner. I really wanted a clean copy though, so decided to try once more and was lucky to get a good fit this time. It obviously provides only scratch and slight bump protection, but wow does it highlight the thinness of the Air. It’s very nice for around the home and office.

I wish the Beats Rugged scored higher in the drop test because I just switched from the Mous back to the Beats and my.... what a relief! This thing feels like heaven in my hands after the rough and edgy Mous case.
I hope my PR Gen 7 gets shipped soon. I'm hoping for a cross between these two when it comes to the feel and protection... And very curious how the Grip will feel compared to these others.

Speaking of the Grip, someone on reddit stated some of the skins (the holo versions) might interfere with reception on the phone and that's why they always include an alternate skin with these?? Can anyone confirm?
Looks like in "real life" testing it did pretty good :)

Love to see it! Thanks for posting this. ☺️Because I’m currently rocking the Beats Rugged again after contemplating over the Mous case for a bit and finding the sharp inner edge too risky for a regular case swap. I feel like it will definitely damage the coating over time when removed over and over again. Which is a shame because I love the Mous otherwise.
The Beats Rugged is smooth inside and out, with a nice microfibre lining, so I’m not worried about swapping out of it often.
Haven’t dropped the phone yet, so fingers crossed I won’t ever need the protection.

If the Mous didn’t have the sharp inner edge which would you like better the Mous or the Beats Rugged now that you know that the Beats Rugged provides good drop protection?

I love the Beats rugged case. I have the synthesis, the sheath and some other cases but for some reason I just keep going back to the Beats

I ordered the beats rugged on sale and rocked it for a few days… I wanted to like it but found the top half too slippery. I like the buttons and lip/screen protection but with winter here and my hands dry I was worried it would get dropped. Im back to the Smartish gripzilla which despite Mobilerevieweh’s negative YouTube review I’ve found to be a solid case.

I’m thinking of getting a mous case if they ever go on sale. Not crazy about their marketing but they seem to be highly reviewed.
