The title of this thread has me wondering about the 17 Pro Silicone cases. In the past I've found them just a tad too grippy, leading to unwanted lint. Is this still the case or have they changed them up this year. I do love how they fit, though.

Here’s the Pitaka “Edge” in Lucid Blue (these name changes… lol). If you’re familiar with Pitaka Ultra-Slim cases, this is the same thing in a new color and weave pattern. The fit on this copy is very good, which has me feeling like I won the lottery since you never know with these full-aramid cases. The edges also feel slightly smoother, which has me wondering if Pitaka is making small changes to improve these. It’ll definitely have a place in my “around the home and office” case rotation.

Grip is here and damn this thing is ugly asf with the leather skin 💀 it does feel good and much slimmer than previous versions but probably prefer the sheath and rebel over this grip as they look much better than this monstrosity

Well, if Sheath is minimalistic, than the Grip is ultra-minimalistic. I don’t think it’s ugly but I can see why someone might think it is 🙂)
Still trying to decide between Grip and Mous… I can’t really see how protective case can be with open plateau area… but the options are so limited.

To the people who have a Grip with a skin right now: is your skin also not properly adhering to the slope below the camera plateau? I have this problem and other people over on Reddit are reporting the same thing.

if you want a mix of both i think rebel is your option it feels thinner than both but can take a drop too

mine is good for now but it does not seem to align well on the bottom as its lifting so might rip it off soon (plus its ugly lol)

Actually I’m quite enjoying my Sheath right now, despite the alignment problems… PR is tempting but like a Mous it’s an open plateau case - so much open aluminium area especially with pro max models. Once I had a very minor fall with my 14Pro on a gravel pavement and had to live with a nick on one of the camera lenses.

Grab the plateu cover lense. Or slap some camera ring protectors on it
