I really don't know why... Maybe it's because computers and emails are not so spread as cellphones

Ooh, now that's a possibility. I wouldn't be surprised, especially since it's a Tuesday.
I could see Apple releasing a beta of the software and SDK today, which would probably require 10.5.7 to be released. I'm also secretly hoping that it's an open beta, since developers are now no longer under NDA, or any outstanding patents have been filed. But I know that's soooo not Apple.
This time it is only 0200. Usually it is 0300. But with Daylight Savings Time change we get an hour break.
I usually stay up to watch them as they happen. Makes the next day a bit hard on me.
I feel like we get plenty of more leaks around this time. I haven't heard much new since yesterday.
iTunes is suddenly telling me that "Genius Sidebar for Movies and TV Coming Soon"...which means an iTunes update is somewhat imminent...I know it's a long shot but maybe something will be released during this event (even if it isn't 3.0 itself), that may also require an iTunes update, and they held this Genius function over as something to entice people that don't get this new device/software to update?

Ok i am in Greece @ the office waiting for the big moment.....i am always optimistic about things so here are my thoughts:
Today they will release 2.3 which is going to have background notifications. So they will give us something they promised 6 months ago....
As for v3 it will be something completely new, new user interface, new apps and i think that v1 of the iPhone will not be supported.
As for MMS i believe we will not be getting any MMS, we have email why use MMS?

I was one of the people that moaned about the lack of MMS. Downloaded the MMS app when it became available in the UK App store in January, I think. Since then have only sent 7 messages. It is an excellent app for reading MMSs from those people that can't understand that an iPhone can't receive MMS though.
That's a given and always happens after these types of events/announcements.just wait for all the complaining to start
