I went to the AT&T store on Saturday and bought a Gold 128GB iPhone 6. I had to wait in line for an hour, but it wasn't too awful.

I mainly wanted the bigger screen and the bigger disk. After a couple of days, I realize that I like the new style much better than the 5s. I like the curved lines and the thin design. It fits great in my pocket, and the bigger screen is nice on my aging eyesight. The 6+ is just a bit too big for my taste (and they didn't have any in stock anyways).

I upgraded from a 4s to a 6. Due to my stubbornness on upgrading to Mavericks, I was not able to pull all my phone info from iTunes and was forced to do it from my iCloud backup. It took forever, lesson learned. At least, the experience forced me to do the upgrade to Mavericks too. :)

My first impression of the 6 is that the screen is enormous. I'm still having issues adapting to the size, and I have pretty big hands. I put an Otterbox Commuter on it, and that made it even tougher to use single handed. It also made the phone tough to put in and take out of my pockets. The 6 is smoking fast, I'm loving the speed over the 4s. I'd had enough of the 3g data speeds too. It's a great phone and I'm looking forward to getting used to using it single handed.

I had one of the leather cases for the 5S, and yeah it felt nice, but it got nasty really quick. So I got the black silicone case.

I fear that may happen but I didn't like how the silicone one felt to the touch, I'll just have to get another leather one if this one gets ruined

Got my plus today. Only problem I have noticed so far is that the vibrate is really loud!! Bf has the 6 and it's definitely a lot quieter. :-/

I've owned iPhones since the first release. The iPhone 6 Plus is a winner! What an extension of the human hand. With my span of eleven inches from thumb to pinky, the 6 Plus is very comfortable - portrait and landscape. The keyboard in landscape has extended characters to the left and right, including punctuation.

Although the Space Grey iPhone is beautiful, I chose the Apple leather case... Feels secure in hand.

The screen is amazing! Camera is astounding. Everything is far more functional than with the 5. IOS 8 offers many improvements and logical additions. Movies look great, music interface is easier to scrub, typing is MUCH easier... And speech-to-text appears typed as you say it. I could go on and on, but I'll end by saying , "Very happy with the iPhone 6 Plus."

I got a 6 plus. Battery is impressive. Camera is also impressive. Bigger screen is nice. The size is shocking. But the battery is totally the killer feature.

I think it all depends on expectations.

I've been using the the iPhone 6 Plus over the weekend, and in the first day I was very tempted to return it to get the 6. I decided to just live with it for a weekend, and see how it goes.

After using it all for the weekend here are my thoughts:

Pros:
- Gorgeous screen. It seems like a better and brighter panel then whats in the 13 Inch Macbook Pro.
- far better for email and productivity stuff
- Though heavier then the last iPhone, you can't tell by simply holding it
- Incredible battery life.
- OIS truly helps
- Reachability does help
- Though bigger, still pocketable.

Cons:
- Bigger screen makes it slightly awkward to hold and use in one hand.
- More applications need to be updated to support the larger screen

Final Thoughts:
If your planning to use your iPhone in the way people use traditional smartphones then the iPhone 6 is probably the perfect match for your needs. If your someone who often finds himself hammering off emails, or changing documents while standing in line, or anything of the like the iPhone 6 Plus is incredible. But to take advantage of the extra productivity of the larger display apps need to be updated for the new resolution. This is something that hasn't happened everywhere just yet. The extra productivity comes from more usable space to see content you are working on, the ability to use the split pane view in more places, and extra commands in landscape on the keyboard.

While I love my iPhone 6 Plus, I don't think it's for everyone in the same way I don't think a Macbook Pro Retina is for everyone.

Had the 128gb Space Gray, returned it for 128gb Champagne Gold

Tried the 6 and 6 Plus in store yesterday ... not a fan. They feel cheap to me. Like if I pressed hard enough the phone would snap. It just doesn't have the weight and feel of a high quality product. The 6 Plus simply cannot be used one handed and the 6 was really pushing it for me.

I didn't like this huge phone trend, but I'd never actually tried one ... now I'm sure I don't like it. I actually left the store appreciating my 4S more. lol. I might go with a 5S.

OK, first impression: I went out to look at them in person today. I currently have a 5S. And carry it in my front left pocket. Despite all the photos, etc., I was pretty surprised at the size of the 6 Plus. Beautiful screen, for sure, but felt like I was talking on my rMini! Might go for the 6, or might just stay 5S. But it IS fun to have options!

The 6 Plus is enormous! I thought I knew what to expect when I went to a store yesterday to get my first look at the new phones, but I was blown away by how large the Plus felt in my hands. I loved it.

The antenna bands don't really bother me, but I'm not a fan of the protruding camera lens. It makes the design seem a bit "messier" than previous iterations, IMO.

The Space Grey color was much lighter than I was expecting, which I like, but I actually really liked the look of the Gold, too.

The lack of a 32GB base model is killing me, price-wise, but I'm determined to save enough to trade in my 4S for the 64GB Plus.

Well I got my iPhone 6 64GB in slate gray on Friday. I have been really pleased with performance. This afternoon at work I dropped the iPhone from my pocket, while seated, and it cracked the screen.

This is the first time I have ever cracked any screen on any device I've ever used. I dropped this from about 22" and the screed cracked in the upper right corner.

The device is still working properly but there is a very annoying crack right by the power button now.

I called Apple and they said I can send it in and pay $109 to replace the screen. I didn't like that much but was going along with it. I used the link provided by the tech at Apple to set up the service.
They tried to charge me $$299.97 plus shipping when following the instruction from the link.

I guess I'll have to live with a broken screen for the next year.

Nice updates and impressions, guys.

I am still deciding between a case or going naked (with AppleCare). Decisions, decisions. What are you guys doing?

My wife and I both have the 4.7 inch 6. She bought an Apple leather case and she loves it. I concur, it's very nice - if I were going to put a case on my Space Grey beauty I would buy an Apple black case but I'm going to keep it naked for now (with AppleCare)

I always pay the money to get an otterbox case to protect my phone. I am treating my iPhone 6 Plus with white gloves until the otter boxes are released for it in the near future. I must drop my phone several times a week normally. I am uber clumsy.

If the iPhone cracked from carpet in the first day I'd take it in. I've used iPhones and dropped them against the pavement from taking it out of my pocket a few times and I've never cracked a screen.

This isn't to negate any people who have a cracked screen, but if you drop your phone from less then 2 feet onto the carpet and the screen cracks I'd say that sounds like a manufacturing issue.

This close to buying something, it's worth taking to the store directly and seeing what they can do.
