Absolutely love the 6+ I think Apple got it completely right this time. It's fantast to use. I'm Female but although it's very big it's amazing looking at video etc. I think I will use this as my business everyday phone. I love it, however hate to say I'm off for the 6 as well today for my going out socialising phone. I would not want to take the 6+ where I might drop it and going to get AppleCare for first time on a phone.

So do you plan to swap the SIM every time or have two phone lines active on one account?

Well I got my AT&T iPhone 6 Plus 128 GB Gold on launch.

My first impression with the iPhone 6 Plus is just amazing. Previously I have owned iphone 3G up to iPhone 4S, then I made the switch to the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5. For me the iPhone 5 and 5S was just a disappointment, being that they only made it taller and didn't make it wider and just made it look weird in my opinion. So I decided to skip 2 generations of the iphone. After the Apple announcement, I was stoked that Apple finally is coming about with bigger iphone. I was planning on getting the Note 4 when it would come out in October but after hearing that Apple announced the 5.5 inch as well, I was immediately sold.

After holding the 6 Plus, at first it looked huge, but after a while I've grown into the size. Holding the phone is not an issue for me and I can easily one-hand it, but when I text I always use two hand anyways since I use swiftkey.

The quality of the screen is just flawless. I was worried about dust, yellow tint, washed out screen, backlight bleeding, when I inspected the phone, I had no issues, and was the perfect phone.

Battery life is awesome, I have no issues with draining.

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the 6 Plus.

Landscape mode on pictures

Can anyone tell me how to get pictures and videos to be viewed in landscape mode. When I turn my iphone6 to landscape pic or video stays in port rate. Help please!

When I first opened the box, I thought I was accidentally sent a silver. The grey is a very light color.

Coming from a black iPhone 5, I was also struck by how light the space gray replacement color is. On the other hand, scratches should be pretty hard to see (though my 5 was naked for 2 years and still looked pretty good). Is the only difference between space gray and silver the white border around the silver's display, or is silver even lighter on the back?

EDIT: The awesome pics linked to above clearly show that the silver is lighter. Interesting!

We received an iPhone 6 and a 6 Plus over the weekend. Here's my first impressions.

The iPhone 6 Plus isn't an iPhone. It's an iPad Nano. Seriously. This isn't a bad thing either. I find myself getting more stuff just done on the 6 Plus then I thiught. It's a little power house of a device.

Using it one handed isn't bad either. It's not ideal though.

For the iPhone 6 it feels like the next iterative step of iPhones. Again not a bad thing. It's extremely easy to pocket and use one handed.

The build quality on both is simply immaculate. This generation feels like what Apple had in mind back on the original designs for the iPhone but wasn't able to make until now. These are devices Steve Jobs would have been very very proud of.

The camera in this is just amazing. You don't even need to make an effort!

(last one is size comparison between the 6 Plus and the Nexus 5)

For me I got both the 6 and the 6+. I have always had two phones. A Note and a iPhone and use both for different needs. But have always missed iOS when I used the Note. I love the 6+ but would caution people to go to the Apple Store and see it before getting one. For me the 6+ is my favourite out of the the two.

I had agonised for ages over whether to get the 6 or the 6+. I am VERY glad that I went for the 6. As soon as I picked up the plus in store, I knew I'd made the right decision. For me, single-handed use and pocketability are paramount and I would not be able to get along with the plus at all. For reference, I'm 6'3" and have large hands. I would actually have preferred the 6 to be a little smaller.

In the past, I have not used a case for my 3G or 4S (except briefly on the 4S before deciding I didn't like it). I am seriously considering one for the 6 though. It is so thin, light and slippery that I think drops are much more likely.

The speed of the phone is impressive as is the camera. The screen seems clearer (even after adjusting the brightness back down to where it had been on the 4S). Early impressions are that the battery is lasting noticeably longer but I can't be sure until a week or two in.

I prefer the rounded edges to the sharp lines of the 4S. For me it looks and feels nicer. I also prefer the look of the back to both the 4 and 5 series phones - the antenna lines don't bother me at all, in fact I like them.

Overall verdict: Not likely to really change my life (at least until :apple:Pay arrives and really takes off in the UK) but a very nice upgrade. Very happy :)

I love my 6 plus. Size is great. The one and only thing that is kind of driving me crazy is the power button being on the side. After using it for a day or two, I find that I found it much easier to use it when it was on the top. That is just my opinion and I would be interested to see what others think. Maybe once I am used to it, it will seem completely normal. But as for now, I am missing having it on the top. It feels awkward to try and push it on the side.

Only the iphone 6 plus will allow the home screen to go to landscape when turned (not sure about pics but it may be the same - but basically the landscape mode not available in the smaller IPHONE 6). Regardless, you have to be viewing in standard mode and not zoomed mode for even the home screen to go to landscape when you turn the Iphone 6 plus to landscape. Here is a blurb I pulled from a review site: The iPhone 6’s smaller screen size means it doesn’t support landscape view.

Love the 6+, looks great in the Apple leather case. What I cant stand (coming from Android) is ITunes... what a pain in the ass!!! I forgot how heavy and time consuming that POS program was. 2 computers to sync with? too bad, ITunes must now erase everything on the Iphone to connect the other computer. Want songs on your device? Drag and drop right? Nope. start filling the ITunes library and sync it to your device. Long procedures, bogs down everything. While I missed the Iphone and IOS since my days with the Iphone 4, I cant stand the crap ITunes is forcing on me.

itunes is pretty dumb I agree, I set my iOS devices up without iTunes(manual transfer of photos, fresh reinstall of apps, got things backed up in cloud programs) etc and I love it

It's fine, just larger. Exactly what I expected, small upgrades like this are safe. Apple was smart to keep it the same
