Update: okay i went dwn to apple QCD, they manage to polish the 'scratch' away. So now phone is good
Just got my replacement today and guess what? It has the micro-pitting issue right out of the box. This is ridiculous. And worst part is I left the AASP without spotting it. Now I have to call back Apple Singapore to get another replacement. Luckily they will replace just that it will take another day to process.
Has anyone emailed Tim Cook with the explanation provided here?

How many have you been through now?
If you have the time, would you please email Tim Cook and explain what you have been through so that info can trickle down for the rest of us?

What do you think are the odds that he (or his rep) will reply? Haha
Very good actually. Never a personal response from him, but it is always forwarded to someone in the executive department and they are very good at replying and taking care of you.
How many replacements have you had?

I have the same problem as well. had this phone since mid November last year and has kept it in a spigen ultra hybrid as well. @alleggerita may I know who you contacted to get the replacement? I'm in Singapore as well and I went to apple's official reseller but was dismissed as cosmetic damages. but the scratches are getting worse and worse.
I'm wondering if the case is a contributing factor as multiple people (using the case) are having problems?
[doublepost=1463666348][/doublepost]Aluminium on my 6s Plus has been chipping on its own especially at the edges. It's appearing at the bottom of my phone all along the antenna band and now it's appearing at the top. It's also appearing around my pentalobe screw holes, lightning port and headphone jack.
I seriously think it's a manufacturing issue. Some problem with the 7000 series aluminium that's causing the edges of the aluminium to be very very easily chipped. I used my phone with a cover since Day 1 and yet this happened. I used my 6 Plus pretty much naked for the whole year and yet it hasn't chipped even though it has softer 6000 series aluminium.
Do any of you have this issue?
