Well they usually don't release the info, but they've already publicly released that the AppleTV does indeed have 2GB.Apple never releases this info, how would a random chat agent have this information?

when does the Ifixit report comes out? Hopefully before launch day. I ain’t paying all this money for 1 miserable GB of ram
ok, thank youDon't worry, the embargo will be released a few days before and that's when all the tech sites will release a review and they will have had time to run geek benchBUT, the previous geekbench leak that happened points towards 2GB.
I cant keep TWO tabs open on my 6 plus without one reloading.
This was my initial thought too but then I remembered there's a 14 day full refund return periodwhen does the Ifixit report comes out? Hopefully before launch day. I ain’t paying all this money for 1 miserable GB of ram

There are enough pointers to 2GB that I'm going to go for it on faith.
Yep, I’ll do the same. I’ll faithfully preorder a 6s+ on 12 September.
Then, I hope —for Apple— that it’ll come with 2 GB of RAM.
Because, if not, I’ll cancel the order immediately. Furthermore I’ll sell my old 5s and my iPad Air, as well as the iPhones of my wife, my father, my daughter and my sister. I’ll replace them all with Samsung phones and Microsoft tablets.
Of course I’ll sell also all my Macs and replace them with Windows-10-driven Dells.
I’ll cancel all Apple IDs, as well as my developer enrollment. In the router I’ll block accesss to all Apple sites. I’ll sell all my Mac programs from the last 20 years and I’ll claim full refund for all iTunes and App Store apps.
And I’ll never ever read any Steve Jobs biography.
Apple, beware!

At the cost of not helping my cause, I want this thread to die. iPhone 6S has 2 GB RAM, end of story.
Having it continue to remain prominently posted on the first page only confuses people. OP, at least consider changing the title.
IOS is not a resource hungry device like Android. Its very efficient at handling memory.
The more I think about the fact that Apple never officially announces RAM for iOS devices, the more I think it's ridiculous. It's no wonder some people think iPhones are for tech-illiterate users, when you can't even get them list a basic spec like RAM.
ad blockers will change this drastically

Another apologist.
What if the site has more than a photos loaded? Should I change my browsing habit?
The 512mb devices are already becoming obsolete with many newer programs not supporting them. Do you really think it's a "bad" thing to have more ram? Or is Apple's bottom line more of a concern to you?
