Fair play. But 65 a month is a pretty healthy amount. I am a heavy data user and rarely use more than 10gb. Wonder what an 7+ would be on that one. Prob 80 a month or something crazy.

Nice touch with BT sport tho.

Yeah I agree it's a hefty monthly hit depends on the individual and weighing up the pro's & con's ect not for me thou :) I got a better deal from 3 and their handsets are unlocked.

The 7+ is £60.99 a month for 10GB and a £60 upfront charge.

What happens after 12 months tho? You won't have paid off the RRP of the handset in that time?
I see they call them 24 month plans though so do you return the phone for an early upgrade?

Honestly not sure bud just grabbed that from their website... do you return the handset and renew? Need to ask EE.

No not odd at all, the payment only shows up when money has been taken. For the phones, only if you have 'preparing for dispatch' should the money be taken.

As for the Watches, I guess they're not running around with their heads on fire as much as they are for iPhones. We'll move to 'preparing for dispatch' when the working week starts again ;)

Also as it happens, we have the same dates for Watch and Phone.

I think me and you should stick together in this thread! Same Date Friends! :p :D

It's almost certainly automated, if orders are cancelled they're probably reassigned to people

Yea I agree it must be automated, it's just that people seem to see the most changes in orders especially near launches during the week. Just wish my one would hurry up and update :D

None that I can think of, must be rewarding enough for doing good deeds ;)

Yes, happen during Saturday evening.

Nice! Good to see some movement. Thats not too far from launch day now, I wouldn't be surprised if Apple did manage to deliver your phone on the 16th. Let's hope anyway ;)

I bet with EE you have to trade in the handset and renew your plan; I think with o2 you pay off the device plan and start again that way?

Edit: found the Terms and Conditions

Annual Upgrade: Getting the newest phone is easy. After 12 months you just bring the handset you are getting now in to one of our stores, and providing it’s in good condition and full working order, you can hand it back and upgrade there and then to a new 24 month plan at the same or higher cost. Available to new and upgrading customers taking a 25GB or 40GB 4GEE Max Plan on an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus on a 24 month contract. Not available with Family & Friends, PERK or 10% Multi-line discount. Upgrade after 12 months must be to a new 24 month plan at the same or higher cost. Phones are subject to availability at the time you want to upgrade. Upgrade in selected EE stores only. At upgrade you must return the phone we provided to you in full working condition and free from cosmetic defects else you may be charged. Phone must not be Activation Locked via an iCloud account. Device cannot be returned so ensure all contacts and data has been backed up. See ee.co.uk/annualupgrade for full details and terms.

How have you guys managed to order today and get a dispatch of 16th September when I ordered yesterday and my Black iPhone 7 32gb doesn't get delivered until 26th-28th September?!!!
I ordered on Friday 8.09am.

We talk about this every iPhone launch! CPW sell 'unlocked' but they (and possibly others) lock to the first SIM card you put in there. It's not truly 'unlocked'.
Apple are truly unlocked and people have also said that John Lewis are. Jury is still out (I think?) on very.co.uk
:)

I have an iPhone SE brought from Argos and my phone is still unlocked to all networks

After reading all these messages I'm now worried my card will be blocked by HSBC. Thought I was in the clear after the order had gone through.

Last time HSBC blocked it when I was trying to click order, they rung me up to authorise it. That was only at the end of July and was for £1300 so hopefully the fact that that wasn't long ago makes them realise it is genuine.

Cancelled my very order... Feel better now :) will take the silver one from Apple on Friday and probably cancel the black one from Apple, currently scheduled for early October, unless the date changes.

Will soon be! Just sold my iPhone 6s Plus 128GB for £550. Buyer collecting tomorrow. Luckily I have an old 5S "somewhere" that I need to dig out and change up.

Is anyone part of Apple's Beta programme? Is there anything extra I need to do to wipe my phone clean?
As far as I am aware you just delete your apple id, and then I re-set to factory settings - to the screen you would normally get when you take a new phone out the box. Back up first. I have been on the beta programmes for the last couple of phones and never had a problem
