Yea thank you for that! Do these cases get that yellowing over time that tends to happen with clear cases? At that price even if it does I might just buy another one.
Ya if that yellow stain happens, I could just buy another one, they're so cheap anyway, and you're welcome.

So there are still reservations left for the 256gb plus in gold and rose gold for launch day pick up at my local apple stores. However it's going through the iPhone upgrade reservation link, which I'm not wanting to do. I'm wanting to pay outright. I really want the black but I currently do not have a phone at all as I sold my 6s plus yesterday. I do have a black (matte) one on pre order with a 27-29th deliver window.

Do you think they will allow me to just pay outright for the phone instead when in store? Surely a sale is a sale?

Also as a side thought, there will be people who do not pass the credit check for the phones on the Apple upgrade program (its Barclays who are ****s when it comes to passing credit checks) will this stock be released to walk ins do you think??
I reserved through the upgrade programme but with the intention of paying upfront in store during my 15 minute "slot". So I didn't select instore pick up - which is different and will mean your card is charged pre 16th just like it would be if the phone was being delivered to your home address.
I have confirmed with Apple that you can pay up front in store rather than join the upgrade programme.
The only way to reserve rather than pay up front is / was through the upgrage programme link - which opened a new window.

Got my pre-order in on Friday morning, got my confirmation email through at 8:17

iPhone 7 Plus - Black - 32GB
Dispatches: 6-8 business days
Delivery: 27 Sep - 29 Sep by Standard Shipping

Not a bad delivery time considering I couldn't get onto the Apple Online Store until about 8:15 despite frantically refreshing the page.
Might try and see if I can reserve the same model for pick-up next Saturdays morning, I don't particularly want to wait till the end of the month if I don't have to.

Will be nice to get back onto an iPhone after a (regretful) year without one. (What was I thinking?!)

Ive ordered one of these for my iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black, hopefully they are good cases, I've never used Spigen before
https://www.amazon.co.uk/iPhone-Spi...73588735&sr=8-8&keywords=iphone+7+case+spigen
no experience of that one per se, I have this one on my 6s

https://www.amazon.co.uk/iPhone-Spigen®-Exact-Fit-Premium-Finish/dp/B01GIVWOMG/

I just want a thin case that won't add any additional bulk to the phone.. i've not suffering any damage to my current phone

I have always used fonebank rossy and they are 100% reliable. Happy to take slightly less knowing they shouldn't give me any trouble.
I haven't had a problem with music magpie ever - just sold my mac pro via them, have sent my iPhones to them previously. I am not sure of some sites where you get a lot of cash for your device. I hear problems in getting their money through. My iPhone was locked in at £430 so a good price. I have used them for many items CDs games etc. I used fonebank once for my husbands phone and they reduced the price to £30 when they received it as it had an exploded battery by the time they got it. It was fine when it left me.

Purchased an iPhone Matte Black 7+ 128GB with confirmation email at 08:15. Anybody with delivery date 04 Oct to 10 Oct have their date moved forward?

Mines still the same but it says dispatched 2-3 weeks delivers 04 Oct-10 Oct. if it's dispatched 2 or 3 weeks hopefully we'll get it sooner that 04 Oct? Maybe later this month?

Sorry - can someone clarify (lost the plot in this thread)

If I reserve for pickup do I pay via ApplePay on my phone or purely reserve it and pay in store?

Reason I ask is that I use a card I only have stored in ApplePay- the actual physical credit card is 200miles away at my folks house.
It depends. Did it ask for your payment details? If so, you've already paid, like me.

Mines exactly the same, I got the 128GB Jet black 7 Plus, I think the jet black pluses sold out immediately, they must of been the most popular model, and they probably had less stock of them due to production issues. I'm still positive tho, at least we don't have to wait until November like some people do.

Does anyone have any idea why the store didn't come online at 8:01am as planned, and why it seemed that it came online at different times for different people? I was in the same boat, refreshing iPhone, iPad and macbook and couldn't get on until approx ten past 8, and then had problems at checkout.

Just to clarify the car phone warehouse debate that's going on, the phones do come unlocked but DO lock to the first sim used.

I know this as I ordered my iPhone 6 Plus through them and the phone until last month was locked to Vodafone, however if you've been with Vodafone for more than 3 months and all your bills are paid all you have do is fill out a form online, fill in your number and IMEI number and they'll unlocked it for free, a lot of other carriers are the same.

As for people asking 'will my order get bumped up?' Nobody knows, a few people have been lucky, but it's Sunday so I doubt much will be happening today, movement might happen during the week, but other than best guessing nobody knows what's going to happen except Apple.

My 32GB Black iPhone 7 Plus still says 'Processing' :(

My delivery date is 27-29th September. Do you think it could get pushed forward and maybe come on the 16th??
Nobody has a crystal ball, many of us are in the same position as you with the 27-29 date.

As for 'processing' - this is completely normal. Only launch day people are 'preparing for dispatch'. Heck, my Watch order is for launch day and it's still processing. Chill out about 'processing'.

I've still never seen a reliable explanation for why it comes back at different times for different people other than the assumption that when you try and connect, it looks and says "ok already 10,000 sessions, return down to this one". For the last couple of years I've had zero luck. I watch here and see people ordering, I'm refreshing on ipads, iphones, macs, pcs, from work, from home, on different networks etc. and nothing for ages. Eventually something will kick in, usually an ipad apple store app and the rest will still be saying down.

When the watch gen1 came out, I was refreshing everything and only got on about 8:25

Feels like I'm doing something wrong but I've no idea what!

I notice that for the last couple of big end of year sales, some supermarkets were using the same online queuing system which put up a huge sign mid screen saying you are now in a queue for the website and in position 1000, 991, etc. Kinda felt a lot fairer than this random Apple system :/

For those who have a iP7+ Black 128GB pre ordered, I'd like to know what region you live in and whether yours got pushed forward. I have a theory that those who have London/central London delivery addresses are not getting pushed forward, perhaps something to do with the courier logistics.

My shipping is central London and mine hasn't been pushed forward, despite me ordering well before a lot of other people who have been pushed forward.

I just got a call from Apple (Cork, Ireland number)

They wanted to confirm my order before processing it. Initially I thought it was an odd call at first, he clarified that anything over 2K he calls them to confirm the order.

My order was 2x iPhone 7 plus 256 Black with apple care.

Did anyone else receive a call today?
