Bare in mind that nobody's orders "will move up" over the weekend. I suspect that any orders which are bumped up to a nearer delivery date, will happen during the working week.

Mine moved up yesterday evening from 27-29/9 to 20-22/9. (7+ Black 256GB)

I've still never seen a reliable explanation for why it comes back at different times for different people other than the assumption that when you try and connect, it looks and says "ok already 10,000 sessions, return down to this one". For the last couple of years I've had zero luck. I watch here and see people ordering, I'm refreshing on ipads, iphones, macs, pcs, from work, from home, on different networks etc. and nothing for ages. Eventually something will kick in, usually an ipad apple store app and the rest will still be saying down.

When the watch gen1 came out, I was refreshing everything and only got on about 8:25

Feels like I'm doing something wrong but I've no idea what!

I notice that for the last couple of big end of year sales, some supermarkets were using the same online queuing system which put up a huge sign mid screen saying you are now in a queue for the website and in position 1000, 991, etc. Kinda felt a lot fairer than this random Apple system :/

Yes clearly Apple were using some sort of system to limit access to stop the site falling over, was very frustrating as it's not transparent how it works and for some reason iPad Apple store app seemed to be the route that got people in earlier

Could you please elaborate on how to reserve with the iPhone Upgrade Programme but pay up front in store? I'm happy to wake up at 6am on Saturday to try and find a slot, but I'd really rather not be locked into the yearly contract.

Just pay in full in store when you get there! Although you reservation is technically for IUP Apple have clarified they will let you pay with other methods so can just pay the full amount there and then

That's good then. Do they not take your card details when you reserve? (Apple have my card details from the iPhone 7 pre-order)

My black 256GB just moved to 20-22/9, perhaps thanks to you :) Cheers

My 27-29th Sept 7 Plus 128GB has also now moved up to the 20-22nd Sept.

That's weird, so has mine!!!

Yesterday, my 32gb Black iPhone 7 + Leather Case, were showing a delivery time of 26th - 28th September with a status of 'Still Processing' but having checked just now, via the link in my order confirmation email, it now shows 20th-22nd, but still shows 'Processing'!

I wonder if mine will get pushed forward, I'm currently on 2-3 weeks, 4th-10th October, Jet black 7 Plus 128GB.
Same here. I couldn't get into the store until about 8:15.. got my confirmation email at 8:18

There are two different reservation systems, the IUP doesn't need or ask for payment information because they'll sort all that out when you collect. In previous years you never needed any payment information for in store reservations and the IUP reservation is like the reservations from previous years.

My 32GB Black iPhone 7 Plus still says 'Processing' :(

My delivery date is 27-29th September. Do you think it could get pushed forward and maybe come on the 16th??
Highly unlikely! Can hope though!
Side note: why don't you have a shirt on in your profile pic?!?!?! Didn't think Macrumors was that kind of site!!

Quick question please. I've sold my iPhone 6s Plus and the bloke is coming round to buy in about an hour. Apart from wiping the iPhone clean is there anything else I should do? Also, he's paying via PayPal, anything there I need to be aware of? Thanks.

You need to unlink it from your iCloud account otherwise he won't be able to activate it.

Even crapper for me - mine was 8:06 :-(

You think we're being trolled again?

My order is still in Processing, with a delivery estimate of the 27th-29th of September, hoping that it gets pulled forward to the 20th-22nd slot at least, very much doubt a Release day/Saturday delivery will happen

They don't deliver Saturday anyway

As far as i can tell from my data (due to the speed of sales, it's really tough to say for sure) - they're using the same stock for both reservation systems though, which makes it a bit different to the usual Apple Store pickup process, as the stock was already allocated to the store before people paid for it.

I think they just wanted to speed up in store pick up by having people pay online before hand so staff can concentrate on iPP.

Also noteworthy: Around 6:46am each morning Apple have been adding new stock to the reservations (Sat/Sun). This includes Jet Black 128GB iPhone 7's (no other Jet Black models though - i've been hoping for a 128+)

On Saturday, the stores which got stock of these Jet Black 128GBs were (time in brackets is how long it took for stock to deplete):
6:46am: Bentall Centre (25m), Milton Keynes (20m), Bromley (20m), Trinity Leeds (10.5m), Meadowhall (15m), Grand Arcade (15m)
6:51am: Covent Garden (6m), WestQuay (20.5m), Victoria Square (45.5m), Apple Watch @ Selfridges (10.5m), Festival Place (30.5m)

Today (Sunday) the stores were:
6:46am: Bullring (26m), Bluewater (20m)
6:47am: Covent Garden (10m)

(Edit: Times were one hour out - GMT/BST issue!)
