Bit off topic but I've read that only one camera in the 7 Plus is a wide-angle lens. That's the lens that's the same as the one in the 7.

I've been thinking on this myself. Currently I'm on three sim only, 23£ for unlimited everything. EE looks good, especially the WiFi calling and visual voicemail capabilities. I was reading that with ee, you can pay 300 odd to keep the phone instead of handing it in which is good, but you can do the same with apple upgrade programme. The tipping factor for me was the included apple care with apple upgrade programme. For me adding the 45 per month ontop of my 23pm sim only contract works out only a pound or so more expensive than from ee with a 100£ less upfront fee.

Plus you have unlimited data, which you would lose if you went to EE

Hey there Londoners, I'm going away for the weekend from the 15th to the 18th and I'll be trying to reserve an iP for an in-store pick up, do you guys know, or remember from last year if there was an option to reserve an iPhone this early and just walk in, pay and get the phone or it has to go trough as an online order with a selection of '' in-store pick up '' at the checkout?

Also, if you go select the 7 in silver, it shows you that it's going to be available for pick up at Covent Garden on the 16th but the 7 Plus in Jet Black or pretty much any other type shows ''unavailable for pick up'' Why can't just the Jet B. be available too...?! :(

I think the only negative on Three are their customer service

The signal is poor. I was with them for a year and data signal would drop out regularly. I then moved to giffgaff which is the O2 network and the drop outs stopped happening. Customer service was also not great.

There feel at home was very useful in America though.

I ordered a gold and a jet black phone from Apple direct. Tried to order them through work to get a discount but it's not available. However ordered a Series 2 watch also and that has go my work discount on it.

At the moment my gold version is preparing for dispatch!

Well both my phone and case are now preparing for dispatch so now it's sit back, relax and come back from holiday to have my new phone waiting for me :D

I managed to get £255 from O2 Recycle for my 64gig 6 Plus too :)

No UK Apple Stores had any reservable stock for the iPhone 7 Plus in Jet Black :(

Wtf! I have placed an order to collect 2 iPhones on release day and used PayPal. The full amount is showing as authorised. I thought they didn't hold the full amount? I have also ordered 2 watches and they don't ship until October but the full payment has been taken. I don't have enough money in my account to cover this. It has even authorised another £600 for an iPhone order I cancelled this morning. I have cancelled both watch orders now. Does authorised mean that all the money will be pending out of my account now?

I find it funny how I was so happy to see my account down by £815 on Friday and seeing it in my pending transactions makes me smile.

Bearing in mind that a lot of stores don't even have a walk in option this year and dates are slipping to November for orders, I imagine that if the rumors are true and the iPhone 8 is a revolutionary new product, then getting one of those those is going to be a complete nightmare next year
I had some fun with data this afternoon and built a timeline for each Apple Store showing reservable/pick-up-able stock:

Here's an example of what SouthGate, Bath looks like:

I have been trying to reserve a 256gb Silver plus since Friday morning at the Southgate store but no luck

Yes one camera is 28mm wide angle, the other is a 56mm telephoto. The 28mm wide angle is the same in both and has image stabilisation, the 56mm telephoto doesn't and is only f2.8 unlike the f1.8 for the wide angle (so doesn't have the good low light capability)

That seems strange. Apple doesn't normally charge for items until dispatch. They may put a hold of 1 pound initially for each item but that should be it.

Maybe it's been dispatched but the Apple tracking of the shipment is lagged, as other users said to me.

This is via PayPal though. Maybe it's different. I'm pooing my pants now :-(
