Wondering...opinions please....wanting a 7+ plus 128Gb black. I can wait a bit if don't get straight away. I'm probably going to get the next iPhone if it's what is rumoured to be a big update, would normally wait/skip. So.....

Buy outright stay on my SIMO £25/month, order is in says 27-29 Sep; £819

Go the Apple upgrade program £45/month

Go EE max I get a discount so is £99 upfront and be £55/month, allows upgrade phone on same or more tariff after 12 months a new 24 month contract.

Unsure what to do. Don't like the long commitment of 24 months but suppose could be ok. Not sure on trade in after 12 months on EE also as says good cosmetic condition. Very ambiguous.

So comments please!!

How much data on the EE Max plan? As far as I can see only the 25gb and 40gb max plans allow the upgrade after 12 months. I've gone and elected the wrong plan so going to see what i can do about changing and negotiating a better deal.

It states in the EE terms you have to, if wanting the upgrade after 12 months, to hand in the same phone though. Pity we could have been a bit cheaper way!!

Or if you no longer have the device (or don't wish to return it you can pay £240 for the 7 and £310 for the 7 Plus.

Lloyds updated theirs yesterday as well!! No more random password characters...
Now waiting on Santander...
Nationwide already have it. So both of my banks are Touch ID and Apple Pay compliant.

Well I have 4 pending iPhone amounts a 2 watches coming out. I only want to phones coming out.
Oh god what a nightmare.

Not sure if this has already been discussed, but I'm curious to know if Apple had stock for the Jet Black Plus when the store went live. I ordered the 256GB within a minute of the app going live and it was already 26th Sept -3rd Oct :( Really hoping the delivery is bumped up by at least a couple of days or a week.

My sister on the other hand ordered the Jet Black Plus 128GB from EE on Friday evening for delivery on the 16th. She got lucky

Plus you have unlimited data, which you would lose if you went to EE

Yup, love not having to worry about dataz but must admit I hardly ever use it lately. There was a time when I first got the sim, it was faster than my home broadband.

I don't understand because when I cancelled them on apples site it said you will not be charged for these items. So it is obviously a PayPal cock up.

My 128gb matt black 7 and black leather case are both preparing for dispatch! Looks like my case will be delivered before the iPhone turns up.

When did you receive your email notification? Am assuming you pre-ordered via App store app or their website

It's because Paypal take the payment even if Apple haven't requested it and then Paypal hold it until Apple ask for release.
It sucks.

Guys, FYI Carephone W. gives the most value for trade in iPhones, ive got £450 from them for my 6s Plus 128. Just in case you were thinking of recycling your old phone...

Point: that it offers nothing of value to this thread, that exists as a rare safe haven from the hostile vulgarity spreading across the rest of MacRumors.

Truth: the former was totally subjective, the latter also probably untrue since, among other things, CPW operate their own network, iD Mobile.

ID mobile is an MVNO - so they are still not a carrier, they don't have their own network...

There was nothing hostile u til you poked your nose in

They are only offering £265 for 128gb 6's at the moment so i cant see them offering another 200 quid for a 6s plus
but i might be wrong

Did they take it out of your bank account yet or just out of your paypal account?
It's bit showing out of my bank yet but there are about £2000 deductions out of my PayPal account summary. I didn't have any money actually in my PayPal account.

Anyhow just phoned up PayPal and the verified none of the cancelled payments should come out of my account and they have emailed Apple to confirm the ones have been cancelled. What a pavlova.

Bear that in mind though peeps, especially if you order more than item and intend to cancel some of them that they may all come out of your account (if using PayPal anyway).

The way you talk, makes it like there's going to be hundreds of people doing the iUP reservation then buying full price, it's more like a handful, which makes little difference to the launch day figures.

The ruling of not allowing people to switch form iUP to paying full price was rolled out today, so your friend may be on old news.

The app still states you can change, I'm going off that.

I also received a call from Apple in Cork, Ireland. Also ordered two iPhones.
He told me that after the call, he would go on and process the order, and that I would receive an email.
Still waiting for that email...

Glad to hear you also got the phone call so it wasn't a scammer.

Same no email yet

That screenshot says they can check what is available. They're stating in store on the day it's not available during the launch period.

What other options to purchase are there? Also I read it as I would check with them, not that they would check what is available

Suppose we will see what happens on Friday, but I'm confident that it will be the case.
