Everyone I know who works at Apple Stores agrees that you're going to be able to - I wouldn't worry here :)

They actually won't even really know the difference between each customer until they scan the barcode on your pickup or reservation, at which point it will tell them to take payment or that you've paid.

26th sept to 3rd oct seems to be batch one for the jetblack +models. Network carriers, Very, John Lewis are all a different kettle of fish. Here is hoping your order gets pushed forward

Not yet she didn't! Not at all convinced anything other than Apple will be around launch day (maybe not even Apple!)

That says they would check what was available, so if standing orders are that iUP is the only option available during launch period, that's what you'll be told. This is according to my brother, who was told this today at work. Why would they put that the specialist would check, if it was a straightforward yes?

It's not the first time there's been restrictions during the launch period.

Are your sources that told you, Ines that we're working today? As my brother was told at work today.

Different queues for reservations and online order pickups, so they will know the difference.

Yup! Not interested in having an argument though - you clearly believe you won't be able to, just as I believe you will. We'll find out on Friday!

Yes I believe so.

They're both overpriced but the leather one at least feels premium.

I tried them both when I bought my 6 and found the silicone was too grippy, so it would get stuck in pockets etc and make dropping more likely.

My case for the 6 held up pretty well and has been used on my 6S since last year.

I've ordered the black leather case for the 7+.
 
Just got a text from barclays confirming if my payment to apple is legitimate.

This is for a pickup on Friday. So looks like they are taking payment up front this time rather than when you collect.

Update: I then had to logon to my apple order and resubmit to retry payment.
 
Watching the thread like a hawk for any sign of a bump in dates.

But must have lucked out, iPhone 7 Plus 128GB matt black, email received at 08:12.....4-10th October delivery date :(

Some stores are getting stock of that phone at 6:45am each morning for collection. It might be worth checking if you can get to a store on Friday!
 
I have just had a message from my bank asking for confirmation on the pre-order transaction. It appears that Apple will indeed be taking the funds out of your account ahead of the launch for in store collection.
