What about those who checked out as a guest? Is there a way to migrate that order to an Apple ID?

EDIT: I forgot to edit my payment info the night before, so I panicked and thought checking out as a guest would be my quickest option.

Yup! Not interested in having an argument though - you clearly believe you won't be able to, just as I believe you will. We'll find out on Friday!

I wasn't looking to argue. Was just asking a valid question.

I'm not intending on doing that anyway. I was just sharing what I was told by someone in the know, as if today.
 
I just got a call from my bank's fraud department saying they had put a hold on my card due to possible unusual activity. Apparently the two small orders I had put on Amazon yesterday and today as well as my iPhone order had prompted them to do so. Once I cleared with them the transactions were all done by me they said they would release the hold.

In the mean time Apple had been trying to take a payment and weren't able to and had left a message on my iPhone order on my online account to state that and to either provide a different method of payment or to request re-authorisation of the same one. I chose re-authorisation of the same one. Unfortunately their customer service closes at 6 today so I couldn't speak to anyone to reassure everything was now OK. Hopefully the request online should be enough for them to try re-authorisation again. I'll call them tomorrow just to be on the safe side. :(
 
Yes, my two iPhone 7s, both in black, have now appeared on my support profile with serial numbers. Exciting!

I don't think so :( I did that one year and couldn't see it on the profile until I'd set up the phone

I'm the same, it's been there since at least yesterday, I didn't check it on Friday. Still preparing to dispatch. I guess it depends where our phones are coming from. If it's China they might be dispatched soon but if they are already in the UK, we probably won't see any movement until Wednesday at the earliest.
 
If it's in your profile now I'd say it's almost certain to be here Friday, very envious of you all ;)

Ordered the 7 Gold 32GB for collection in store at 6PM on launch day, but my order is still saying "Processing Items"
I Ordered around 8:15AM on Pre order day.
 
Can't believe the Americans get the pluses on launch. Apple have totally screwed us in the UK over this year. No stock, another £120 on top of previous prices, in store collect a shambles.

Does anyone else think that Apple are starting to go down the pan a bit with regards to launches, software and generally there products don't seem as polished and special as they once did?
 
Anyone here on O2 refresh contract?
Because last year's iPhone release was on the 25th I can get a new phone on the 25th. I have tried to phone them for 2 days about reserving one as was worried about their stock levels but you can't get through on the phone. Yesterday I decided to try the chat. The O2 person said you can only do the refresh upgrade in store but he assured me there will be stock and I can reserve jet black plus in store to collect on the 25th.Today I went to a store in the west end and they said they will have no stock of 7plus! And you can't reserve one when they come in! He said I have to do it on the phone! They handed me a phone which kept me waiting 30 minutes without anyone picking up..I then had to leave. Has anyone here any experience of refresh? It seems new customers can just preorder online but the loyal customers of 12 years plus can't do anything despite having a contract promising upgrade on the 25th. I am furious! They should have a dedicated refresh phone line...surely there are lots of us?!

Just wanted to get a thread out for preorders made by Uk residents! Currently have an iPhone 6 Plus but preordered through Vodafone for it, this time I'll be going through Apple as I get a discount on Apple products through my work.

Sold my Galaxy Note 7 last week to fund buying a iPhone 7 Plus outright, so just wanted to hear other people's plans and hopefully people's updates as they go through the exciting/nerve wrecking experience of preordering for release day delivery!

Yes one camera is 28mm wide angle, the other is a 56mm telephoto. The 28mm wide angle is the same in both and has image stabilisation, the 56mm telephoto doesn't and is only f2.8 unlike the f1.8 for the wide angle (so doesn't have the good low light capability)

Sorry. I didn't mean same lens. I knew that.

I meant the telephoto lens doesn't have OIS, just the wide-angle lens has the OIS.

I never had to speak to anyone at Apple when my bank blocked my transaction. Once I'd cleared it with my bank I re-entered the card details and then the payment was authorised and it's now showing on my pending transactions. My status changed to preparing for shipment a few hours after my payment went through. I have a serial number in my support profile and my delivery date is still the 16th of September. It should be fine so long as the payment goes through.

I think only now are people seeing charges for the in store pick ups. So I wouldn't worry about it.
