Exactly what I was going to say, if that's what JL have surely Very must also have no plus models? I'd never even heard of Very until I read this thread, so I can't believe Apple would allocate them more than JL.

In terms order I would imagine it goes

1. Apple store(s)
2. Primary carriers EE/Vodafone/O2
3. Secondary carriers ID/3/GiffGaff
4. Primary retailers John Lewis/Argos
5. Authorised retailers Solutions/KRCS
6. Secondary retailers Very/Littlewoods etc

Just a guess but that's how I would imagine stock letvels are handed out

Guys, which JetTECH screen protector should I get?

The 0.33mm one or the 0.2mm one?

Exactly! I've heard of them before but I was a little reluctant that they would have such amount of stock.

Sprint as well Verizon and AT&T haven't released figures yet, Apple aren't bothering and I doubt uk carriers will either

Yeah I hate to say but it's not happening, John Lewis is a big retailer and part of a massive group, behind Apple and carriers they're up there's as a big store for Apple to use so I really don't think very will be getting many at all

I agree. No chance that John Lewis would've been allocated a smaller supply than Very's. Not only does John Lewis represent one of the most high end general consumer stores in the UK and also having an actual psychical presence in terms of high street stroes, I doubt stock was favoured towards Very.

A bit misleading since that was T-Mobile stats, and that network's customer base has massively expanded since the 6 was launched.

But yes, no Plus stock at John Lewis, that's for sure.

(@WojWojski - I'm sure you'll still be fine with your 'contacts'! :D)

I've just text my 'contact' (one of the assistant branch managers or whatever they're called) and he's still adamant they'll have stock of the plus.

Whether that turns out to be true I'll find out Friday. Still, I'm not really bothered this year and I've not really welcomed the change of delivery for my order from 27-29 sept to 20-22nd.

In all fairness Very are part of the Shop Direct group, which is a pretty major UK retail group. Thing is the stock levels at Very went from being available on launch day to being out of stock very quickly, so yes smaller stock levels than John Lewis but they were not an obvious source so early birds got in, no reason to doubt that Very will not fulfil orders just because John Lewis have small/no stock. I managed to place my order and if there were any problems I would have thought customers would have been notified if ship dates were to change.

I would be very* surprised if Very delivers a single Plus device on launch day, or any black non-Plus model.

John Lewis are the biggest Apple retailer in the UK. I recently read they sell more Macs than Apple stores do! And as we've seen from the Apple Pencil, they get enormous stock compared to every single other retailer.

So if they have no Pluses, no-one will.

I'm still undecided on carriers. I have a feeling EE will get some Pluses but nowhere near enough to fulfil their promises.

*No pun intended.

Shop direct are NOT big group at all, they have Very and littlewoods that's it, one of which is designed purely to screw over people with poor credit, John Lewis on the other hand is one of the biggest retailers in the U.K. So if they're not stocking plus models (because there isn't any) I really doubt anybody will be, funnily enough I know the CLO of John Lewis but never though to ask him about this seen as I though Apple would have enough stock to at least last the initial five minute on Friday

EDIT: Apolgogies he's not the CLO that was his role at ASOS he's head of operations for John Lewis, ironically he was also the GM of Shop Direct about 10 years back

Yeah, I know a lot of people who shop at Very use their pay over X month. Personally, I wouldn't use them as my first choice of outlet unless I see something actually discounted on there.

And both sites are just reskinned and one site has priced up products and this was revealed on a documentary shown on TV not long ago (though this was mainly focusing on the pricing of cloths).

Well then he is literally the man to ask!

Very aren't too bad but Littlewoods are there purely to con the unfortunate out of their money, it's just Very are hardly a big company in comparison to John Lewis so I'd be surprised if they're supplied with superior stock

He's a friend of my parents, I'll drop them a text in the morning and see if they can get through to him, lives back in Derbyshire but works from London through the week so I don't know how easy it'll be to get in contact with him

Just been checking how much stock is available to enterprises and also gets provided into places such as KRCS etc and there is a grand total of 0 7 pluses available in the UK as of tonight.. and ive now seen the guide prices as well for enterprise customers so ex VAT and ex volume discount... a very good price and even with vat a good saving... now to wait :(

Very has popped out of nowhere this year. Would not at all be surprised if some executive has intentionally overpromised to get more orders, and make it next to impossible to cancel or return.

A rush of £800 payments must nicely fill the bank for a company normally fulfilling £30-40 orders.

I'd prefer if mine was delivered on the 20th by a long shot, stuck on the 27th-29th just now with no sign of movement
What time was your confirmation? I think that as long as you got in quickly then it's very likely you will be bumped to the the 20th. I've had people with the same phone order after me and they already had the bump to 20th! So I would be shocked if we didn't get it to! Apple always say orders are fulfilled in the order they are received.
If i remember correctly i had a similar order date on my old 6 and apple watch and got them for well before expected. so fingers crossed we have a similar situation ;)
Same here! My 6+ had a ship time of 7-10 days and ended up coming the Monday following the launch on Friday so it was way earlier than expected! If something similar happened this year that'd mean phones arriving on the 19th

Very is Littlewoods and owned by Shop Direct who are known for sharp sales tactics..

I am surprised that Selfridges arent offering any iphone 7 devices..

Had the Ringke on my 6s Plus. Looks nice on the 7 Plus.

The John Lewis app has spilled the beans! As @jafacake310596 stated.

When the orders go live tomorrow there will be zero Plus stock, and the following 256GB non-Plus stock:

256GB:
Jet Black - None
Silver - 20
Gold - 10
Rose Gold - 10
Black - 20

I didn't manage to get any info on the 32GB and 128GB non-Plus before the glitch stopped.
John Lewis stock update.

128GB non-Plus:
Jet Black - 10
Silver - 20
Gold - 20
Rose Gold - 20
Black - 20

I hope that anyone who has ordered with them either receives their phones as promised or gets a full and immediate refund if not.

Just had a check they're showing up now, maybe they're adding them bit by bit?
That is most probable however I think there still won't be Pluses - the difference in the availability message was there from the start and they all seemed to update at once.

Possibly but I would have thought any regular account holder with Very would be using credit facility, so not a huge influx of upfront cash.

I placed my order more as a punt than anything, I have used them a lot in the past few years and in all fairness they have never let me down, be it a launch PS4 or the new MacBook last year. If i get lucky and do in fact recieve my order then great but if not I have my Apple Store reservation so either way I don't lose out:)

I spoke to EE earlier today after pre ordering the 7 Plus Jet Black 128GB (for my sister) and the advisor said that had been a 'stock communication issue' with Apple and that there is a small chance it won't be delivered this Friday but within 7 days from the 16th.

They did say if it isn't delivered by Friday they'll knock off a couple of quid from the contract and send an accessories voucher as an apology and thank you for being a long term customer

So there is a chance my JB iP7 Plus may come before my sisters! Hehe :p:D

Very are actually a very big online store. They are very popular amongst those who want to pay for things monthly. I know many parents who do shopping on there and get house hold goods on there.
