No, not normal leather grain, it looks more like when they attached the leather to whatever is rigid underneath caused slight creasing and I have diagonal lines crossing the back. Apple have arranged a collection a replacement.
Sorry being dumb here but if I order from Apple and it says dispatched 2-3 weeks when will I physically get my iPhone?
When I ordered on launch day, 2-3 weeks meant 4th-10th October.
so 2-3 weeks for it to leave the factory and then anything up to a week for delivery. the order status gives an estimate delivery date for 2-3 week orders placed last Friday as 4-10 Oct.
To be fair, I really don't have a lot of apps. Most of what I do is done in Safari, I've never found dedicated apps really that useful. I don't have any games either, my girlfriend always refers to my phone as, "boring." Aha.
It does in the email confirmation yes. If it is then not to your liking you can easily cancel the order

I'm the opposite, have a five year old son, so it get pretty loaded with games...
Probably never as you'll end up cancelling it again.

You will be surprised how quickly you fill the bigger phone, I had 16gb phones up until the 6plus and never filled the 16gb, for the 6plus I got 64gb (ahhh the sweet spot!) and soon filled that one, last year I got the 128gb as they didn't do 64gb and guess what I filled that pretty quickly too. I'm torn weather to get 128 or 256 this year (have a gold 256 and a rose gold 128 reserved for Friday)
I honestly don't know how I manage with 16gb on my iPad Pro
For those discussing iCloud Photo Library usage, don't forget that if you have just installed iOS 10 it will re-download your photos in order to scan them for People and objects. That explains why some people are seeing much larger numbers than expected.

Official black leather Iphone 7 case just arrived. Bit slippier to the touch than I would have expected. Different to my 6 plus one in pink. Older one feels a lot smoother like suede.

I just got off the phone with a lovely lady at Apple when I called the Trafford Centre store....
She said that the store (so all stores) are /only/ dealing with people who have pre-ordered a device with the in store pickup option and have an allotted time.
No walk in stock.
