iPhone 7/7+ - UK Orders & Dispatches Thread

I managed to get on the Apple Store app at around 08:05 on Friday and got an instore pickup window of 08:00-08:15 for this Friday.
Now I am seriously thinking I made the wrong colour choice!
I went for the 128Gb 7 (not plus) in Jet Black, Now I think I should have gone for Matte Black!

My only hope of getting one of Friday now is JL tonight. I take it if I don't use the JB one from Apple, I can return it without hassle, correct????

Yeah you should be able to return it with no issues.

Nope. 32GB will be perfect for a lot of people. My 16GB 6 Plus have 1.5GB of space left. I'll have loads of space left even with a 32GB phone.

...I have to totally agree! My 16Gb iPhone 6 has just 1Gb left, after being with it for the past 2 years, so when I receive my 32Gb iPhone 7, it will seem huge!!

Official black leather Iphone 7 case just arrived. Bit slippier to the touch than I would have expected. Different to my 6 plus one in pink. Older one feels a lot smoother like suede.

Does yours squeak when squeezed? Mine squeaks... last one didn't.

The new one is deffo a different leather, its more shiny than your 6 plus one. You can tell in the photos the old one is more matt. Wonde why they have changed it. Not too keen.

Lets say you really don't like the Jet Black for it's looks and want to return to for a matte black, but there are some "micro abrasions" due to "normal use" as Apple would call it. Will they let you swap it out?
I intend to ask this on Friday when picking up my JB.

Here's a question. Like most things you buy you can return it for an exchange/refund within 30 days even if the reason is "not for me". Lets say you really don't like the Jet Black for it's looks and want to return to for a matte black, but there are some "micro abrasions" due to "normal use" as Apple would call it. Will they let you swap it out?
I intend to ask this on Friday when picking up my JB.

I take it all the orders which show 6-8 business days are from the 16th and not from the day of ordering.

During an online chat with Apple there they confirmed my Friday pickup order is still good. I asked them about retuning a JB iPhone with wear and tear.
He said:
"You can still return your order within 14 days of delivery in any state really and even if you’ve used it, this can be done online via the order status page, here over chat or over the phone as well."

There we have it.

Yeah it was quite the shock when I opened it how shiny it looks, it may dull over time though.
