No. And I don't think we'll see "Preparing for Dispatch" either.

What I think we've done is essentially reserved a phone from the batch that the store will get. The phones are probably already at the stores. I think the next step we'll see is that it's ready for pickup.

Stores don't get any stock until the early hours of Friday. The manager at my local said they get the stock at midnight and they spend all morning sorting through it. Only then do they actually know how many units they have.

In the Glasgow Buchanan St store had an iPhone 7 Black 256 GB 7
Anyone else's order "Preparing for dispatch" but NOT showing on their Apple Support Profile?

I've got two Black 128gb 7's due for delivery Friday.

My Apple Watch <delivery Fri 16th> went to Preparing For Dispatch last nite, and still nothing in Support Profile

Oh I thought they were the same company! Mine did come from Keep In Case!
Keep in Case sell a lot of Spigen stuff through Amazon, at least I know they have managed to deliver something :D I'm sure it's just Roayl Mail being a little slow
Yep 5-15 day shipping for $2.99
That's not bad! I wish I'd done that now o_O I've spend about £14 on screen protectors! I've bought ones for the 6 and had to get more for the 7 since they won't fit. I could have bought a full skin for that money :( maybe a silly question but how does the $ to £ work on a credit card? Do you get charged for using a foreign currency?

If they break through no fault of the user, why should we have to pay? The EE diagnostics report showed no damage to the device and that the Touch ID sensor had failed. I'm sure you've read up on the Touch Disease issue and that it's a design flaw.

Misapplication would be asking for a free repair if damage is user inflicted.

Where is the cut off then? Can you go back after 3 years? 10 years?

Hello! Sorry in advance as probably loads of people have asked this, but for those that have bought the phone outright from Apple, what's everyone's Order Status? Mine has said 'Preparing for dispatch' since Saturday, has anyone's gone to 'Dispatched' yet?

Very interesting!

This has only ever been the case in America before, and it's used to determined the difference between Carrier sales and unlocked sim free ones.

I would imagine in this case, it means they're saying stock is available for non-iPP sales, but it could mean sim free only (so you can't reserve for a new carrier contract in store) - i'll find out after lunch for sure!

Well done for noticing. I care don't include "UNLOCKED" as a valid available status in my timeline code, so might need to adjust :)

Edit: Indeed, if it says "UNLOCKED" that means the store will have stock, but not for iPP. I guess they're getting ready for Saturday's standard reservation unlock.
iPP meaning the upgrade programme?

Very strange!

Sales of goods act covers you for a "reasonable period" which is usually assumed to be 5 years.

But you have to prove the issue was there when you bought the phone, so evidence of other people having the issue is good!

I think 2 years, which is an okay amount of time as most carrier contracts and people would be using them for around that time.
After 2 years, other parts could deteriorate through age such as the battery or the display.

Yep 99% certain, I have just checked my available credit on my card and with what is remaining of my credit only thing to come of it would be £819 for the phone.

Its weird, i used my bank via paypal and nothing is coming out my bank or pending. I also ordered the Iphone cases though that i actually received today for £45 each and they didnt show as coming out (pending) either. They moved to completed in Paypal last night when dispatched. Money still not pending in bank for those

My iphone 6s plus was locked with Mazuma for £400 but had dead pixel/ white patch on screen got it back yesterday.

Took it into Apple store today and they tried booking it in for repair. The genius did a diagnostic test and it said backup was 2 weeks ago and my software was out of date still on 9.3.2 i think.

Anyway she said it has to be sent to the depot and gave me a loan phone (iphone 6). She could not overide it and the swap was greyed out on her screen. Really worried why it said send to depot!! Phone was immaculate too ( genius kept saying)

Anyone had this issue? Sorry if its off topic.

I can't help but to keep thinking maybe 'Jet Black' was a bad choice after reading apples small print,

Still have the option to cancel the current order and opt for the safer 'Black' option

Having to keep the handset in a case all the time seems to negate the point of having the new high gloss finish, but since I'm in what I believe is the 'first batch' of UK 'Jet Black' handsets I can't help but continuously jumping from one side of the fence to the other.

Anyone else suffering from which black is best syndrome, is there a cure!?

I was/am/was...

The Jet Black looks gorgeous, its a finish I would love but the whole idea of these "micro abrasions" aka scratches put me off. Last Friday I had both in my favourites as I couldn't decide and in the end I went with the Matt Black. I knew having the Jet Black meant I would be constantly checking for marks and it would annoy the hell out of me every time I see a new one. I like my stuff to be in the best condition possible and I don't think even with the best care the JB will stay looking new.

I understand why people have gone for it and when I see one I'll probably be envious but long term it will be better for me.

Just a heads up for anyone on EE who doesn't manage to get their Visual Transcript working, for Voicemails, on their new phones - apparently, EE do not support it so we're out of luck. :(

Why not ? As far as I'm aware it does it on the phone not on EE's end. During beta I set my location and Siri to USA which got it to work for me although it didnt work too well as it was expecting American dialect and not British

I think I will do that now, see what they say! Although it's worth saying that it wasn't shipped direct from Spigen, it was from Keep in Case. Spigen didn't have the case I wanted for sale direct from them on Amazon. It's the Ultra Hybrid Air Cushion one

I ordered from that same seller, mine aren't due for delivery until the end of this month/beginning of October. Hopefully they arrive before the phone though.

Hmm that's interesting, so I guess Apple have limited it to the US Region for the time being. Not sure what's stopping the rollout unless they want to test it further before a global rollout.

Seriously questioning my choice of 32GB now I've installed iOS 10.

My iCloud Photo Library now takes up 18GB of local storage. Fair enough it's over 13000 photos, but I was hoping it would not use up so much with optimise storage.

Has anyone ever gone through the process of exchanging or returning one?

Can it be done in store or do I need to do it online?

I don't know how you would best go about it but I'd definitely just pay a little extra to get a lot more storage.
