In my experience John Lewis is possibly the best place to buy anything in terms of customer care after purchase.
Thank you! I might try my luck with them if I decide to change my model and if they have any in stock next week

No. And I don't think we'll see "Preparing for Dispatch" either.
What I think we've done is essentially reserved a phone from the batch that the store will get. The phones are probably already at the stores. I think the next step we'll see is that it's ready for pickup.
Cheers! Not alone then!I have a 7plus silver preparing for dispatch but not showing on my Apple Support Profile
Whaaaaaat - just checked and its gone up in price, allbeit by £8 but still, I would of expected it to drop in price, oh well

That's weird. I got £300 for a 6+ last week but it dropped to £250 this week. Luckily I'm in at £300.
Anyone else's order "Preparing for dispatch" but NOT showing on their Apple Support Profile?
I've got two Black 128gb 7's due for delivery Friday.
Keep in Case sell a lot of Spigen stuff through Amazon, at least I know they have managed to deliver somethingOh I thought they were the same company! Mine did come from Keep In Case!![]()
That's not bad! I wish I'd done that nowYep 5-15 day shipping for $2.99
Where is the cut off then? Can you go back after 3 years? 10 years? If they break through no fault of the user, why should we have to pay? The EE diagnostics report showed no damage to the device and that the Touch ID sensor had failed. I'm sure you've read up on the Touch Disease issue and that it's a design flaw.
Misapplication would be asking for a free repair if damage is user inflicted.

What model and colour? Sounds like good news!Yep 99% certain, I have just checked my available credit on my card and with what is remaining of my credit only thing to come of it would be £819 for the phone.
iPP meaning the upgrade programme?Very interesting!
This has only ever been the case in America before, and it's used to determined the difference between Carrier sales and unlocked sim free ones.
I would imagine in this case, it means they're saying stock is available for non-iPP sales, but it could mean sim free only (so you can't reserve for a new carrier contract in store) - i'll find out after lunch for sure!
Well done for noticing. I care don't include "UNLOCKED" as a valid available status in my timeline code, so might need to adjust
Edit: Indeed, if it says "UNLOCKED" that means the store will have stock, but not for iPP. I guess they're getting ready for Saturday's standard reservation unlock.
Sales of goods act covers you for a "reasonable period" which is usually assumed to be 5 years.Where is the cut off then? Can you go back after 3 years? 10 years?

Yes I'm set on the plusWhy don't you get the plus, try it out for 14 days and if it's too big just exchange it for the 7. As long you're not getting any of the blacks the stores will have plenty of stock for you to exchange it.
I can't help but to keep thinking maybe 'Jet Black' was a bad choice after reading apples small print,
Still have the option to cancel the current order and opt for the safer 'Black' option
Having to keep the handset in a case all the time seems to negate the point of having the new high gloss finish, but since I'm in what I believe is the 'first batch' of UK 'Jet Black' handsets I can't help but continuously jumping from one side of the fence to the other.
Anyone else suffering from which black is best syndrome, is there a cure!?
Until you aren'tYes I'm set on the plus![]()
Just a heads up for anyone on EE who doesn't manage to get their Visual Transcript working, for Voicemails, on their new phones - apparently, EE do not support it so we're out of luck.

I think I will do that now, see what they say! Although it's worth saying that it wasn't shipped direct from Spigen, it was from Keep in Case. Spigen didn't have the case I wanted for sale direct from them on Amazon. It's the Ultra Hybrid Air Cushion one
Why not ? As far as I'm aware it does it on the phone not on EE's end. During beta I set my location and Siri to USA which got it to work for me although it didnt work too well as it was expecting American dialect and not British
Yea that's all I'm worried about to be honestI ordered from that same seller, mine aren't due for delivery until the end of this month/beginning of October. Hopefully they arrive before the phone though.
Seriously questioning my choice of 32GB now I've installed iOS 10.
My iCloud Photo Library now takes up 18GB of local storage. Fair enough it's over 13000 photos, but I was hoping it would not use up so much with optimise storage.
Has anyone ever gone through the process of exchanging or returning one?
Can it be done in store or do I need to do it online?
