So do we know if and when stock will be updated on the apple reserve page?? I know it was 6am this morning, but do we know if it is the same time every day??


It seems to be updated constantly throughout the day
 
Anyone in north east, metro centre have 128 and 256gb rose gold and gold pluses in stock for reservation. Collection at 4:00pm

Considering giving up on this now. Tried this morning with no black available.

It's well worth your time checking over the next few days. Several execs have said that stock will get better as the week goes on. Today was always going to be a risk because they were still recovering from yesterday, but I'm certain there'll be more stock around tomorrow and early next week definitely. Remember the stores get a new delivery every morning, but they don't know what will be in the delivery.

If I can't get one tomorrow then my next opportunity for a reservation will have to be Wednesday as I have a Genius Bar appointment that day and can't get to the store Monday or Tuesday. So I'm really hoping I'll be able to snag a reservation for tomorrow. But we'll see. I know I'll get this phone eventually.

If so I would assume this would be at 6am every morning to make it fair. Or is my logic just wrong??

Wish I/anyone could tell us! I don't have a clue but I can see for my local stores the stock keeps changing. I'd assume it's based on people missing their scheduled appointments today?
 
I managed to reserve a gold plus 256gb at mk! But I so wanted the black...now I'm fed of all the crap surrounding Jet black and black, people who've got gold...what do you say? Go for it or not!

Did you get it? I've just been to the MK Apple Store and I wasn't on the reserved list when I got there! Showed them my printout and email with the QR code on it and they told me that the reservation system had somehow allowed people to reserve stock that they didn't actually have. Anyway, long story short, the manager did actually find me one in the end but I wonder how many went away empty-handed...
 
When was your email confirmation?
08:04..... my shipping date has been bumped since receiving that email of course.

i don't think theres any point in me being hopeful for any JB iPhones tomorrow as there wasn't a single phone today in any of the stores

That's the only available page. I wonder if Apple held off allowing no-upgrade program reservations today like they said they would because of the issues with it yesterday?

It should close at some point today and then reopen at 6am again. That said, stock is coming and going throughout the day, but I would imagine that's more cancellations rather than new stock.
 
Being a complete newbie, wanted to share my experience... I am one of the lucky ones who managed to reserve a 7+ JB 128 from John Lewis yesterday, and collected it an hour ago. I find it strange that, as far as I can tell, nobody who ordered through apple direct has got hold of one yet - surely that would be the highest priority for any stock?

Also, due to confusing the two blacks on the JL website, also had an accidental order of the regular black 7, which as soon as I realised, I have been trying to cancel. The woman on the phone told me to go to the store and cancel, but when I did that, I was told just to leave it and it will be sent back after 7 days. I tried to suggest that, seeing as they are in short supply, they could send it back now and refund me, as I don't want it, but she couldn't be bothered... So sorry for hogging the stock - I did my best to get it re-released asap.

and i cant find my minion ring tone. its not there with the restore.. and Zedge doesn't seem to exist anymore... waaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm travelling a lot for work over the next few weeks- planes trains and automobiles and hiking and working at the same time. The fact it's a 800 quid device is exactly why I'm putting that on it.

Out of interest, is there a reason you chose a coloured protector rather than just clear glass?
 
Because I deal with Apple Business and there is a fresh batch arriving.

I honestly think Apple had planned a 23rd launch date which would have meant plenty of stock in all colours and sizes, but pulled it a week earlier to gain an advantage over Samsung and the Note 7 saga. Nothing wrong about this either, just a good business tactic to gain extra sales. And IMO this move did work.

By the end of next week, most of us will have the phone we wanted.

I've just cancelled a reservation at Leicester Highcross for a 128GB black 7 if that helps anyone. I assume it'll pop up on the site soon.

Gonna wait for the Plus no point settling for something I don't want.

Cancelled reservations do not show up as available until the next morning at 6AM. I was at the Highcross store picking up my girlfriend's 7 yesterday and a guy in there told me he didn't want his reservation for a 7 Plus 32GB Black and that I could have it if I wanted. The Apple Store employee said they do not transfer reservations and that, if he cancels, his phone would be available on iReserve at 6AM. It wasn't, because there were no black Plus units anywhere in the UK this morning. But all the same. That's not how the system works unfortunately.

Good on you for not settling just so you can have a phone sooner. That's such a moronic thing to do and I've seen it too much over the past week or so. Just WAIT guys, you WILL get the config you want soon.
