Morning guys!

Been reading most of the posts on here over weekend but haven't posted myself! After sorting out the Apple Pay problem on Friday I've had no change in order, still processing on 128GB iPhone 7+ in Matte Black & delivery of 20-22 September! I'd be very happy if it stuck to that and I received it Tuesday or Wednesday!

Maybe,that's the problem.I changed the payment info about 3 days ago.

Apple are usually spot on with their delivery dates.
 
Hey guys! I checked my order status and it said that it's awaiting payment. My card for sure has enough funds and is the correct card linked to my account. Anyway, i tried changing my details to be safe and it kept on saying that my card details couldn't be updated. I also tried my master card and it said the exact same. I refreshed the Apple Store app and it went back to 'processing'. Do you think it was just a glitch? I'm worried as my card hasn't been charged and my order hasn't changed from 'processing'. It says that i should be getting my phone between 20-22nd September but no change in order status and my card hasn't been charged.

Having read all the problems that people are having with screen brightness or lack of it compsited to the 6 plus buzzing noises from the A10 processor when under load, i'm not into much of a hurry to get my phone now as I would hate to have to return it and wait for a replacement .
It looks as if Apple are having serious QC problems with the 7
 
After following this thread for a long time and missing preorders and having zero luck with the 6am checking. Ordered a 256gb iPhone 7+ black. Estimated shipping 2-3 weeks. On the actual order it says delivers 12-18th October. Am I just bad with a calendar or is that more 4-5 weeks for for delivery.

Or get some welders gloves and safety glasses and buy the boom boom note 7 aka the bazooka..

Originally 26th-3rd for delivery. Page on Apple still says 27th delivery.

How can it take that long for an express delivery?

Hi,

My 256 GB JB is coming via UPS, again dispatched on the 17th. There are a few apps that can monitor the parcel as it wings it way around the world. Not too sure how they would work with TNT, but could be worth a punt

No update on my Apple order today, Black 7+ 256 PFD 20-22, JB 7+ 256 4-10.
Bit of a dull launch this year, not getting anything for the first weekend has been a shame. It has given me time to wonder about the poor standard Apple warranty on a £919 phone, so I am going to pop down to Stormfront today and ask about estimated delivery times, they are offering a 3 year warranty I believe, anyone ordered from them?

I've had negative experiences buying from them in the past, I work for a mobile network that doesn't partner with CPW but I hear almost daily from consumers what the aftercare is like. Atleast with Apple I have peace of mind. Also I got AppleCare with it as well. Just in case, £25 for a screen replacement is really good

I don't know what they are like now but about 10 years ago I bought a motorola flip phone from them. I had it replaced twice free of charge in the first month. First time was for an obvious fault. The second time I actually dropped down a flight of stairs and the screen wouldn't come on. They replaced it.

I think in 2012 when my iPhone 4 got stolen I bought a Samsung galaxy Y to use for a month until my contract was finished. It had a fault in the first 28 days and they exchanged it. No quibbles.

You can also take out the geek squad insurance.

Might just be a few stores. The town I work in has 5 phone shops, CPW has been complained about a lot, it might just be unknowledgable staff, but what they have been doing is giving out contracts and refusing exchanges and telling customers they are just a contractor and the customer needs to go to EE or Vodafone etc for an exchange, we aren't even partnered with them, one of our customers took out a sim only contract and bought a sim free phone from them, the phone started playing up with 2-3 weeks we told him that car phone will exchange it for him. They sent him back to us and he was really angry they had told him that it was the network operators obligation to replace the phone, we ended up going above and beyond and contacting Samsung and exercising his warranty, if we hadn't done this he would have screamed our store down. They don't care about their customers in this town, the staff jump on you as soon as you walk in but they won't take your concerns seriously after a sale.

The ironic thing is they used to be the best place in town. They're used to be just a phones4u and CPW and there better service got them a lot of customer loyalty, then when the networks started opening up shops they have just gone down hill, there deals are normally the best, but the service here is terrible.
 
Do they buy straight in the store? I may do this even though the quote they have is £30 short of envirofone. i've never sent a phone off to any of these trade ins before so a little skeptical. Heard anything bad about envirofone?
Try a game store, they gave me £320 for 6 plus 64gb grade B in store
