But what is the top level agreement between your employer and Apple regarding warranties compared to the agreement between your employers and Samsung?
It's the same for both, we cover the devices for 2 years but both manufacturers also cover the first year, our arrangement with Apple is slightly different they do cover the first year and they cover a lot more than us during that first year and we advise people to exercise their manufacturer warranty as if they send it away for testing with us they would be without a handset for 7-10 days. When Apple are playing by the rules it's a same day test and exchange, it must depend which manager is in and who's on the Genius Bar. Most of the time it's okay but there is issues every month.

It's not so much an agreement with us, it's the manufacturers warranty they must provide by law.

I set up the purchase on their website on the 25th August. This was before the prices dropped due to the iPhone 7 announcement.

Then on the 3rd September, they emailed me and extended the offer by an additional 7 days.

I then came across a code on this forum for an additional 5% to be added onto the price, so I emailed Envirophone and they added this on to my quote. I sent the phone special delivery Monday 5th September and the full £414.86 was in my account 2 days later.

Was it a plus? I sold mine on 13/08 to them for £355 plus extra £17.75 using the old faithful 5% code. Have used them many times for both sale and purchase so can't understand how you got so much after my sale?!!

On another note I have noticed more and more that prices don't fluctuate that much as companies are wise to yearly device upgrade cycles and not just Apples. But personally I will keep using them over eBay. Twice bitten in my experience am afraid...

My 64gb 6s in silver is currently on its way to music magpie with a £370 quote on its head.

There are 2 very small dings on the right hand side, but otherwise flawless.

It will be interesting to see if they drop the price because of this.

I can guarantee they will! As I said previously, I had on 5mm scratch on the rear (from where I missed the lighting port and the plug went between the phone and case) and they dropped the offer from £275 to £141!!!

Does anyone know if it's still possible to get my phone on the 20-22nd September even though my order is still processing and Apple have only taken £1 out of my account.

Exactly the same here.

Apple are usually spot on with their delivery dates.

I've never had any problems with Apple delivery dates either even though mine is still stuck on processing! I know some of you guys are on preparing for dispatch and also have 20-22 date for your phones! Hopefully it'll work out for all of us 20-22 guys despite what your status says! :p

Exactly the same as mine, I'm sure once the business week starts again we'll see more movement. It could go to preparing for dispatch tonight/tomorrow, dispatch tomorrow/tuesday and then delivered on Wednesday! Can easily still work out for the 20-22 timeframe! :)

No one knows for sure mate, a lot of us are in the same boat. In a way it's good that's a good few of us haven't had payment taken yet, as if it was just the one person it'll most likely be a problem

Yeah it's such a mixed bag in my experience. Though Touchwood, Solihull is by far and away the worst Apple Store I've ever experienced. Several Genius visits over several years all went badly.

Meanwhile the London stores are great and Highcross follows closely behind in my experience.

I'm not sure the Genius service in London is that great but I've had limited experience of the service - thankfully.

I had the graphics issue affecting MacBook Pros. Despite the online chat first and me documenting all the details in the reservation form, the Genius was still unsure what the problem was or about the replacement program. I even showed them what happens when you switch the graphics off (it works fine because it's the inbuilt graphics card that is the issue) but they kept having to pop off to get more information. In the end they agreed to change the logic board but it took over two weeks to do it. I had to chase them to get my MacBook back. They replaced the logic board and all was fine except my trackpad now clicks only on one side (and gets stuck) and they left a screw sticking out (I assume they've put the screws back incorrectly). I took it back to the store to get them to sort out the trackpad issue and the response I got was 'It's ok, we didn't replace the trackpad'.

I was there for over an hour on both occasions and watched what was going on around me. There were quite a few arguments but I'm not sure if that is unreasonable customers or poor service.

Also, getting an appointment with a Genius is difficult too - at least a week a way most of the time. Lots of people turned away who try to see someone immediately.

Things will update tomorrow afternoon. I am sure about that. For those on 20-22, tomorrow is only the 19th and our phones will already be in the country or enroute over the weekend so Apple have three day's to ship locally and deliver :)

Exactly, plenty of time for the status' to change and things to move onwards and upwards!

I've missed the last few days, but my order has shipped: 7+ / JB / 128Gb / 8:04 confirmation email, shipping from ZhengZhou, arriving with me Wednesday "by end of day". Not sure if I'll get a better delivery window sent on the day.

EDIT: Was originally 26/9 - 3/10 and never changed.

Anyone else's iPhone 7+ Jet Black moved from ZhengZhou, China? Mines been stuck at an arrival scan for over two day now.

My order at 8:03 must be in the same batch as yours then.

In my experience, UPS don't give delivery windows automatically. You may have to sign up to UPS MyChoice for that.

Only Plus model I could see in the Newcastle/Gateshead stores was 256GB Rose Gold. Basically the runt of the litter.

Didn't see any JB 7 availability.

If you reserve one of these on that IUP page, can you just go and pay outright?

Not sure whether to settle for a 7 or holdout for a Plus.

The Rose Gold is hardly the runt of the litter. It may not appeal to you but it does to a lot of other people. The only reason why the matte and jet blacks are popular is because they're new colours. If Apple hadn't released those colours and had stuck with the original colours from before most of those buying the black ones would have still bought a phone in one othe other colours rather then get no phone at all. This makes all these complaints about this new realease being a shambles even more ridiculous.

I'm in this boat too, but given I was a late order (9.23am!) I expected to wait a bit longer. I'm assuming I'll be towards the end of the 20-22 window, but I'm pretty confident of it arriving this week. 6 Plus 256GB Black

What is the process to check ones order like this?

My 6S+ has been sent to depot to repair. Ideally i wanted it sold before my 7+ arrived. Looks like my 7+ will be coming next week as im in P4D and state20-22nd.

If Apple hasnt returned my 6S+ by then and ove not been able to sell it then i might not open my 7+ till ive sorted my other one.

Puts a downer and things as ideally wanted my old one sold before i got my new one.

Just picked up my iPhone 7 JB 256GB from JL which I pre-ordered on Friday when they showed 2 available.

Its gorgeous, best looking iPhone ever imo, and even better it matches my black Merc lol

I have a silver 256GB iPhone 7 as well, unopened and available to somebody on here if they are waiting and want one quicker. Send me a PM if you're interested.
