I was just thinking that myself. Sounds like Apple didn't have any 256gb ones available to begin with I reckon. Maybe the were testing to see who actually bought the max out versions. Shame we don't get them on launch day. I'm worried envirofone's price might drop now in the next couple of weeks for my 6S.
Nobody knows, but I got one just in case. On the hands on pictures the speaker cut-out does look slightly longer to me though, could be wrong.

I agree, mine said 6-8 business days off the bat, so makes it look like they had no inventory and will ship direct from China as they make them... Bloody annoying that!

With my 6s it dispatched the day before release and delivered on release day. I imagine anyone with a 6-8 dispatch time will receive their iPhones sooner than the quoted delivery window.

Not quite sure why everyone seems to be ordering the piano black in the plus model. I'm have barely seen anyone mention they are purchasing a gold or silver model.
Hey guys, not a regular around here - normaly just jump in for the preorder's, last one was AW so its been a while!
Call it unlucky but I happened to be on a delayed flight when preorders opened... Just my luck and now I'm unsure what to do?
I'm buying myself out of my current contract with O2 for £400, and my phone has been sold for £400 (perfect so far!), however I don't know where to get my phone from? O2 are out of the question as their deals are simply awful! So, My options are...
1) Apple Upgrade Program, my preferred option, however the 7+ Black 32GB isn't available for a reservation, so do i forget this option and move on, or do I wait till 6am 17 Sept? (What are the chances of me getting one by doing this?)
2) BT Mobile, I have their broadband so get a £5 discount per month and they're deals are actually very, very good, with shipment in 1-2 weeks still? However, I'm tied into a 24 month contract, grrr!
3) Three, who again have good deals and good shipment times!
So what shall I do? Hang on in there for the Upgrade program, or call it a day and preorder one with a new carrier? Sorry for a huge post, I just know how friendly and helpful everyone is in these forums! I look forward to the remainder of the preorder limbo!

I called them up in the end and they did a security check against me, as soon as they were happy who I was, they processed my order and a "Thank you for your order" email came through with a delivery date of "by 01/10/2016". But when checking the website and "track parcel" it states

I'm guessing that all 6 / 6S screen protectors will fit the iPhone 7 as well as both have the same screen size.

I think you might be referring to me. I honestly do not think that the sales for this iPhone will be anywhere near the sales of the last two. Just my opinion. I assumed that Apple would have manufactured enough of the new iPhone to have stock to deliver on release day. Maybe my expectations were too high again.
Sorry for being a buzzkill don't mean to bring a downer to this forum. I'm just disappointed with Apple.
My Apple account got hacked and I ended up losing that account (as it was a me.com account I lost my emails too) and all my purchases. I had to go through the process of setting up a new email address changing all my accounts and having too get the activation lock taking off my Macbooks, iPhone and iPad Pro. Apple refused to take the activation lock off my iPad Pro (12.9inch) which as you know is like £800. The result of this is that the device is stuck on the activation lock screen. I also lost my £115 itunes credit. The whole process had taken months and is still not fully resolved. This is the main reason i'm so annoyed with Apple. I lost close to a months wages on a purchase I had just made.
But once again apologies for bringing a downer to this forum. Please enjoy.

How about a pre-order directlly from Apple and then a SIM only deal from your preferred network? Thats exactly what I did!
