mine says that also, however how do they have stock and apple don't?

Probably because they're "out of the way" so to speak. Most people are hammering Apple and Network sites and ignoring little sites like Very.

Mine says delivery by the 17th on tracking and email.

Anyone planning on using envirofone to sell their old phones use the code ENVSEPT5 for an extra 5% just bumped up my offer of £451 to £473.55

How about a pre-order directlly from Apple and then a SIM only deal from your preferred network? Thats exactly what I did!
;)

I'm sort of wanting to go down this route but with the Upgrade Program and then getting a SIM only deal, only reason for the Upgrade Program and not a pre-order is that I can't afford to buy the phone outright unfortunatley!

I'm very tempted to order from Very, but they have a no-refunds policy and I'm concerned about this whole locking to the first Sim you put in situation
I would wait until Thursday night and try and get one from John Lewis for in store pick up on the 16th.

Three doing £51 a month for unlimited everything plus 30GB data on jet black on the plus seems good

It does! Just not sure if I want to be locked into 2 years or not, as I will likely want the phone next September too, which is the only thing stopping me going for that deal and thinking of holding out for the Upgrade Program?

possibly, however apple never had any stock for launch delivery. Hey I would love it to come as they say but I doubt it will, no way IMO are apple sending phones to Very when they can't even get their own house in order!

The only way I can see it happening is if the Apple pre orders start to ship out.

Mind you I am Mr Negative with everything so who knows :D

What a sh*tty morning...

So I went to CPW, waited in line for 20 minutes only to find out they don't do O2 Refresh which means next year if I want to upgrade to the iPhone 7S/8/X/whatever they're gonna call it, then it would cost me a fortune. 12 x £51.50 to close the contract and upgrade, which is a lot more than what O2 want. So I trundled off to O2...

...And found out when I got there that they aren't taking preorders for the 7+ in store, I gotta do it online. Balls. Walked back to car and tried to order via the My O2 app. Not working. Go to the website proper, and the drop down menus were being screwy. Drove home and did it on the PC.

All done now though. £504.99 later I have an estimated date of the 23rd for a 7+ 256gb in black. I umm'd and ahh'd between the 128gb and 256gb for about 10 minutes. Same up front amount, but £5 extra per month. With the bigger screen I figured I'm more likely to pack it with media so why the hell not.

Only thing is with the upgrade you would still be paying like a normal phone contract plus a separate sim only deal. That's what put me off

I'm disappointed by the 4-10 arrival date as I was selling my 6s plus for £473 if I send it within 14 days but now price will be a lot lower now I can't sell it till my new one arrives

local apple stores are both inside massive shopping centres that dont open until 9am, theres no way a queue will be maintained from the outside of a massive shopping center the whole way to the front of the apple store, its the Watford store if you are familiar.
There was a bit of a queue at the Kingston store in the Bentall centre last year when I went to pick up my reservation on launch day last year. This was at 08.30 in the morning. There were two queues one for reservations and one for walk ins.

I did this but didn't get an email, just a text this morning saying I have 14 days to send the phone?

Cheers for this - just be aware though the 5% extra does not appear on the order confirmation. When I rang them they said they give you the extra 5% when they have received and checked the phone.

Sorry, I think I missed something, what's the 4-10 arrival date? :)

I ordered a black 128 7+ which it says is due for delivery 4 - 10 October. However I'm now concerned that the credit card details were incorrect (i.e. a valid card but not the card I wanted to use). I can't see how I can check this? It was via Apple pay. Does anyone know if there is a number or online chat link where I can speak to someone to check?

Whilst I would love this to be true for my sake of picking up the preorder and having no annoying lines everywhere, I doubt this is true. The walk in line is a marketing thing and would damage apples reputation if no walk in stock was available.

I think you might be referring to me. I honestly do not think that the sales for this iPhone will be anywhere near the sales of the last two. Just my opinion. I assumed that Apple would have manufactured enough of the new iPhone to have stock to deliver on release day. Maybe my expectations were too high again.

Sorry for being a buzzkill don't mean to bring a downer to this forum. I'm just disappointed with Apple.

My Apple account got hacked and I ended up losing that account (as it was a me.com account I lost my emails too) and all my purchases. I had to go through the process of setting up a new email address changing all my accounts and having too get the activation lock taking off my Macbooks, iPhone and iPad Pro. Apple refused to take the activation lock off my iPad Pro (12.9inch) which as you know is like £800. The result of this is that the device is stuck on the activation lock screen. I also lost my £115 itunes credit. The whole process had taken months and is still not fully resolved. This is the main reason i'm so annoyed with Apple. I lost close to a months wages on a purchase I had just made.

But once again apologies for bringing a downer to this forum. Please enjoy.

Ouch, unlucky...

People treat this very.co.uk thing with a lot of care. Yes Apple are going to supply others with the iPhone, however their store is going to carry a lot more stock than Very, so don't expect to see Very providing iPhones before Apple.

They won't supply before Apple but there are plenty of resellers that will supply on the same day as Apple.

7 plus jet black 128GB is what I ordered but won't be here till 4-10 October. Kind of hurts my money resale value on my 6s plus
I'm not selling my 6S plus after my 7 plus arrives next week. I'm selling my S7 edge tomorrow. I would have sold the edge sooner if mazuma/Royal Mail hadn't of smashed it. I had to get a replacement on my insurance.

bet they wont have black though, or very very limited stock probably kept for regent street / covent garden stores. Unless stock starts flooding in next week.

Makes me wonder how they are planning on fulfilling all the other countries the week after our first wave!
