I just chose EE's SIM only deal for £20 a month, with 8gb and unlimited calls & texts. Over the past 2 years, I have never even reached 1gb of data in any given month with O2 (iPhone 6 2 year contract), so 8gb is more than enough. Couple this with a PayPal Credit Agreement for £30 a month over 24 months to pay off the phone - I'm happy with my total monthly cost of £50, with no up front fee due.

Delivery isn't until 26th-28th Sept but thats only a few weeks so not really bothered seeing that I've waited 2 years to upgrade!

i wish i had your patience i couldn't bare not having mine next friday!! lol

Well I'll admit I'm paying a lot, but I have:

£99 up front
£65 p/month

Which gives me unlimited calls and texts, 25GB data, free BT sports and 6 months Apple Music. All in the EU too.

Plus it's the new upgrade tariff so I can upgrade in 12 months with no fees (just hand the phone in like you do with the Apple upgrade programme).

So in total it's costing me £879 over the year. Which I'm actually fine with, considering I can get the 7S when it comes out! And it's looking like I'll get this on launch day too.

(I got the jet black 7+ 128GB)

Got exactly the same deal and spec phone and delivery date; fingers crossed

Did feel a bit gipped but the early upgrade did it for me, and having lunched my attempt to buy it from Apple earlier in the day I was OK with EE dicking me over a bit; the free EU roaming / Apple music / BT sport / London Underground wifi etc was a nice bonus too.

If it works for you then great - personally I want the new iPhone each year and I've always had to buy outright and just SIM only it.

This way I get a new phone every year.

It's the max tariff. The upgrade is a new one I think.

You also will get £20 off the handset if you're upgrading (it's credited back to your account) so I'm actually only paying £859 over the year.

And then saving £60 that I would normally be paying for Apple Music. I can't say I'm saving on BT Sport as I wouldn't pay normally.

So that's £799 really.

Cheers, I shall call them again. I'll paying £55 a month at the moment, so I don't really mind paying another £10 a month.

Mine still says 27-29 Sep. Ordered at 8.08AM (according to email confirmation).

Yeah - it's the most I've ever paid for a phone contract BUT I think that overall it works very well in my favour and if I bought the phone outright with a SIM only contract I'd be paying a lot more.

Not had chance to come on here yet today. Do we think Apple have no 7 plus Jet Black phone next week, but some carriers do?

Anyone else not received their order email confirmation yet?
From Apple? It happens.

You can fix this over the phone without even talking to anyone. It's quite cool.

Call the Apple Store number. 0800 048 0408.

Tell the automated thing "I haven't received my order confirmation email".

It will then confirm some details and then send you the email. Very cool.

I literally just almost fell out of my chair when I checked my status after reading the person who's delivery date has moved forwards when I read delivers 13-16th sept.

What I failed to notice was that was for my case!! I saw a black iPhone and got carried away

Still not sure if my Very order is confirmed or not. Bought a 128G black Plus at noon, got a message telling me that the credit team needed to check on something (bit odd since I was paying on a credit card with loads of credit). Missed a call from them at lunchtime, so called this afternoon and was told "it's definitely ordered"; when I asked about whether I would receive a confirmation email, I was told "yes, probably" which doesn't really inspire confidence! (I have checked my Junk folder)

Current status shows:
Order being processed
Delivery by Friday 16 September

But a bit concerned in the absence of an email. I have one ordered from Apple on 27-29 Sept so I don't have too long to wait if Very have messed up. But given the doubts about locking, wondering whether to stick with Apple... will wait a few days and see what transpires.

I have an account with them so didn't have to worry about any checks but I received an email straight away saying "thanks for your order" and what it is and delivery by 17/9/16 ( I am not hopeful of the delivery date though)

Excellent, thanks for the link. Would be nice to if all the upgrades team where up to speed on the tariffs.

What I want
1. Jet Black PLus 256gb on apple upgrade programme pronto (or ideally before i need to send my 6s to Envirofone ) and stick with a cheapish sim only plan. Will drop increased iCloud storage and get all music and photos back on phone so Apple Music streaming does not cause me to go over my 3MB data allowance some months

What I have:

1. An instore reservation for a Gold 256 7 plus on launch day/16th (reserved at around 8.30am this morning to purchase on upgrade prog) but am really not keen on the white bezel
2. a Jet Black 128gb order direct from Apple on PayPal credit (4 months 0%) delivers November
3. a Jet Black 128gb upgrade via EE delivers in next 2 weeks £65.99 per month (same £49 upfront as AUP)

I currently pay around £22 per month on sim only contract and I have £450 trade in money (which essentially means I can cover the 10 or so months of apple upgrade payments without increasing my monthly outgoings which is my objective).

Taking the colour out of the equation (but not entirely)............... for around the same extra monthly payment I can either have:

1. Via Apple upgrade I get a 256gb with ample storage and Apple Care (do have insurance via bank but £100 excess).

2. Via EE I only get a JET BLACK 128gb but with plenty data for streaming and get option to upgrade after 12 months (like Apple Care so then doesn't matter that it is locked) but I still have another 12 months of the contract at £65.99 pm

It looks a little bit like am going back to contracts at the moment

Yes, but the colour makes a big difference, my Silver 7Plus 128 is arriving Friday

I ordered the 7+ 128GB Black.. "Ships 6-8 business days" "Delivers 27-29 Sep". I ordered off the apple store app the moment it came back up - email confirmation at 8.08AM. If they do have launch day stock, they must have very little of it.

3mb of data :O

I had an indecisive morning. At 8.01 am, I ordered a 7 Matt Black 128 gig. Im changing from a 6 Plus. Thought id like the smaller size.

Then I had a remorse thing in my head - i use my phone a lot for work, I'm a regional manager, travel a lot, in the car a lot, in branches a lot, very mobile and I reply to more emails on my phone than my laptop probably. So the phone is a work tool. I thought I may miss the big screen.

Cancelled the 7 and went for a Matt Black iPhone 7 Plus 128 gig - delivery slipped though by about ten days.

I also ordered a 42mm SS with Link bracelet, a Saddle Brown leather strap and a Product Red Sports strap earlier today.

I had been holding out for Version 2, so decided to commit and jump in - early Christmas presents ! Thats my excuse.......

Yes I got the 128GB 7 plus in rose gold. I think if you went for gold, rose gold, or silver and got your order in within 20-30 minutes of pre-orders going live you could get launch day delivery
