My 7 Plus clicks as well. I went to the Apple Store in Düsseldorf, Germany. All (not just black) except one single 7 Plus on display clicked. At the genius bar they told me that it is normal to the 7 Plus.

hi guys i got my iphone 7 plus 128 mat black , and i noticed that mine does that click when i try to twist the device , but i did some tests and i notice that :
when i press a little bit on the home button and i twist it the sound dissapear (bbye click sound) when i release the home button the sound is back , i have problem only in the bottom right side .
i will try tomorrow a screw driver to see what happens ;)
i dont think its a screen problem , maybe its something with the home button and screen , i dont see any gaps or screen move in or out the body !

Just in case this helps someone, when I put my ear very close to the phone I can make out two distinct clicking sounds one at the top (near the receiver) and one at the bottom (very near the home button or bottom screws).
When I hold the home button down I can still make the sound.
is this the case for anyone else?
Did someone say they get a sound on the sides?
Also has anyone noticed if it helps pushing in on the whole screen while adjusting the tightness of the screws?

Tightening (or slightly loosening) the screws will NOT fix the creaking cracking clicking noise. The few here that claim this worked for them have already posted back with updates that it indeed did not work. Buy an SE, 6+ or regular 7, AVOID the 7+ for now, and please report the issue at: apple.com/feedback

Another issue with our phones? I'm late to the party on this one, but what's going on with these engineering/quality control issues? Unacceptable for a device of this price point. Ugh.

Just tried tighten the screw. Left one is more loose than the other one. Two phones like this. Definately helps

It looks like aluminuim body feels alot flexible than my 6s plus. That might be the problem

I stated this in an earlier post somewhere here at Mac Rumors. I said that the entire 7+ felt flimsy and didn't feel anywhere near as strong or rigid as the 6S+. I also stated that I'll bet Apple is NOT utilizing the series 7000 aluminum that they had to begin using in the iPhone 6 models due to their ability to bend so easily.

I also stated here a few times that tightening (or loosening) the screws slightly will NOT minimize or entirely stop the cracking/creaking of the 7+ body. Every single person that tried this approach said it worked then reported right back saying that in fact it did not resolve the issue.

You all heard it from me first....I can almost with certainty say that the shortage of iPhone 7+ models is due to the cracking and creaking issue.

But it is not normal. It's an issue.

Yeh i am returning my 7+ after almost 14 days frustration and staying with my old 6s+. Im not impressed with anything. Only thing i really like is the stereo speaker even if it's kinda tiny.
