Nah... the phone I got came with New Zealand as the default country during initial setup. So my guess would be that this is leftover unsold stock from elsewhere, instead.I believe Apple produce them in small batches just for earn some money and make financial loss less![]()
that's a great dealCricket had it last year for $99 and SIM unlocked after one month of service. Wouldn't pay more than that considering it's lacking many of the newer bands like 71, 66, etc.
I just don’t understand how so many people, particularly men, seem to prefer larger sized phones than the SE. I am a tall and big guy and phones larger than the SE just seem way to big. An SE is as large a phone as I find comfortable in my pocket. I can’t imagine I am that much of a minority, but maybe I am. Regardless, I’ll hold onto my SE as long as I can unless Apple makes a new or updated phone the same size.
I think it's a combination of low price and small form factor that everyone loves about this phone.
What else could it be?
Says who?Ridicule all you want. There are people here who literally think it was and would be Apple’s most popular phone.

It’s too small unless you have baby hands.
Can’t agree more to that.I just don’t understand how so many people, particularly men, seem to prefer larger sized phones than the SE. You stated it is outdated without pointing out how is that an issue. Why do you gotta quote me? There is no issue other than it is out dated? What is YOUR point?
Could also be some of these factors (they're all part of why I love it anyway):
No notch
The flat edges
No camera bump
The choice of being able to use a built-in headphone jack socket
Easy to charge and plug in headphones at the same time, no adapters or dongles required
Home Button
TouchID
Bezels to hold onto whilst not obscuring the screen
Sharp square corners on the display instead of rounded corners
Arguably the last true product of the Steve Job-era iPhone designs...
But yeah, the small form factor and low price are probably two of the most popular reasons people who love this phone love this phone.
I really really hope so. I'm on an XS right now and if they update the SE in the future, thats what I would go back to.They're testing the waters. If the clearance models keep selling they'll see there's still a market for them. Potentially bring it back.
lol.. the small phone crowd just does not die out on these forums.....
I think they're testing the interest in the small format SE. If these sell well (and they are), they may bring back a new updated SE.
Nor is it dying out on the street either. There is a persistent market for it, regardless how small since it serves a practical purpose the larger phones do not. Nothing funny about it.
The iPhone X is the same size as the iPhone 6, 7, and 8. Maybe wear looser pants?Says who?
I think the new ones are too big unless you have gorilla hands.

Can’t agree more to that.
The big phones can hardly fit in my packets at all.
I Think you are thinking too much to what i said. Plain and simple: outdated product.Says who?

Hence I am intrigued to know what are you trying to tell.

I am being pedantic here, but there is _nothing_ budget about the SE or any of Apples products. The SE was an entry-level device with a cheaper price point. In terms of the hardware that was used on the SE, it still was a really solid phone with the build and construction.

Data to support that?Nor is it dying out on the street either. There is a persistent market for it, regardless how small since it serves a practical purpose the larger phones do not. Nothing funny about it.
