The O2 I was in today didn't have white ones (not that I'd want a white one, personally!). Are there any at all in the UK yet?
I tebitted one from Southampton Apple Store last Saturday morning.

Did theu had the 16G? White? I've been calling them but no response...
This is teh internets. We'll have none of your rational arguments here...
Besides, my version is much more amusing!![]()
Does anyone know if they would get shipments on Saturday?
Bridgend (i live/work in bridgend) told me they had loads left about 2pm ish. What time did you get there.02 store in cardiff had sold out and so did the ones in bridgend and swansea by the time i could get to one.
Has anyone heard about any stock arriving at 02 stores tomorrow (sat)?
Called into the Bluewater apple store this morning (I got there around 8:45 am). Three people were in the store being credit checked, one guy in the queue just before me and then another person came in while I was waiting.
By 9:20 I had a 16GB black iphone \o/
The guy said it was the first day they haven't had a queue when they opened - they have loads of white 16GB, loads of 8 black and a fair few 16 black apparantly.
Every time I head that my local Apple Store has loads of the white iPhone in stock, but I can't upgrade there, it makes me want to remove an O2 executive's eyes with a spoon. It's f***ing ridiculous that O2 have next to no stock, and yet the phone I want is sitting in an Apple Store with no one to love it....
Didn't O2 think that most people who would want to upgrade to the iPhone 3G would be those of us who bought the original iPhone in the first place? They really should've made more available for us to upgrade.

Yes, but it is O2 that made the decision to NOT allow Apple Stores to upgrade 1st Gen iPhone customers. You know that it is Apple who controls the stock, not O2, right?
Personally, I'm not bothering to 'upgrade' but I don't see where your figures come from. The upgrade would be free/£99 or £159 pounds extra. The length of contract is immaterial as you need a contract with someone so it might as well be O2.Guys - I'm not trying to be a troll here - but do you really think its worth upgrading for? I have worked it out and its gonna cost me an extra £380 over the course of the contract for GPS and 3G, how are you guys justifying it to yourselves, or are you just like.... screw it....(done that before - usually followed by buyers remorse)
Aww gutting mate. Like I said at 2pm they said they had loads and that they hadnt been that busy with iPhone sales.im on about 16gb iPhones. I phoned around 11am and they said thay had some. I couldent get down there untill 4 and when i phones they said they were out.
How do you work out an extra £380. Your already in contract with O2 if you want to upgrade, so it is only literally the cost of the phone dependant on your contract. For example, it cost me £159.Guys - I'm not trying to be a troll here - but do you really think its worth upgrading for?
