I assume you use the same steps as if you were buying on contract or outright, and you'll be given an option to reserve a spot to go to the store for the upgrade program.
i cant see this on apple app. and website is still down.

You have to go through the iPhone Upgrade Program tab on the app. Then then boots you to a special webpage. If you want to save a step, this link should work:

I'm not receiving the text back for verification..... is it working for anyone
As we all know by now, the reservation process does indeed hold a phone for you. I will be picking mine up on 9/25 at 8AM.I just called Apple store online and was told that it WILL NOT reserve a phone for you. Then I called one of local Apple stores and the guy was clueless. This is all so new that nobody seems to be sure how it's going to be handled. I've been told a few times now that making an appointment to do the Annual Upgrade option will not hold a phone for you. I'm still checking, but I don't think we will know for sure until 12:01AM
Keep getting stuck on "Update Your Apple ID"
I received the verification code without issue. Had it sent direct to my iPhone.
Same! Anyone have any reason why, or any tips to work around?Same here - Have tried logging in 100+ times across three devices. Will keep trying I guess.
Yes.So the AppleUpgrade Program is only available on a store reservation?

I had the same problem and was going insane..it's if you have an older iTunes password that is not secure enough. Go here to manage your account: https://www.apple.com/support/appleid/manage-account/Same here - Have tried logging in 100+ times across three devices. Will keep trying I guess.
