Made a reservation for two Silver 64gb using my Apple ID. Mom wants Rose Gold 64gb but there wasn't a way to reserve two different models in the same transaction. Tried reserving with her Apple ID and kept getting the "Upgrade Your Apple ID" error. Thanks for the tip and link to change her password, so now she's got two Rose Gold phones reserved at the same time slot as me. Figured I might as well take a look to see if I prefer Rose Gold over Silver (doubt it, but it's nice to have options!). Pretty smooth ordering process; hopefully the in-store process is as smooth.
 
Got the confirmation email but if I go into my reservations I do not see my reservation. Anyone able to see there reservation in the app?
 
I wonder if the credit check is a hard or soft inquiry. It doesn't matter really, just curious. I wonder how future iPhone preorders will be handled in the future once on the update program.
 
Not smooth at all if the item you wanted was sold out in seconds so you can't use the upgrade program now.

same thing here, probably take a while to show up or something wouldn't worry about it if it showed that the reservation was confirmed.
 
I think as long as you selected the proper carrier, it will be okay.

I did the exact same thing! I didn't see the "Upgrade Program tab" on the App. I was looking for a selection to choose the Upgrade Program and then I saw "reserve in-store" selection and reserved my place for 8:30am. The confirm email looks like I'm paying full price so I hope I can choose the upgrade option when I go to pick up the phone!
 
So the iPhone Upgrade Program comes with a Unlocked iPhone Correct? If I choose to change carriers after I use this program can I just switch my sim card? I hope so because they didn't have AT&T 6s+ Grey so I got the T-Mobile one. Hope they don't make me sign up for mobile. and if they do I will call t-mobile and be like "I want to cancel service". What you guys think?
 
Made 2 reservations one at a time. I assume I could do the program when I show up. Didn't ask me for anything at all.

I'd put money on a hard pull. This is my least favorite part of the deal, since I like to save my hard pulls for awesome credit card bonus offers for travel, but whatever, I'll live.
 
Oh great, now I have two reservations. I have one where I stated I would Pay in Full (128 GB iPhone 6S Plus) and another one where I said I would do the iPhone Upgrade Program (just in case, because I made a mistake the first time) and that one is a iPhone 6S Plus 64 GB (which I have a 64 GB now). I'm done for the night. I'll make the decision on launch day and someone who walks into the store on the 25th will get either a 128 GB or 64 GB phone that I didn't end up picking up.
 
How the hell do i cancel a reservation? I accidentally reserved it for a full price, not a iPhone upgrade and now they say I can't cancel? Huhh???
 
Yeah, it was confusing. First I made a reservation for the full price and than another reservation after I found the iPhone upgrade program option. The confirm emails look different. I didn't want to take a chance. Hopefully I can cancel the first reservation.
 
i just bought 2 iPhone 6s plus's through apple app, and it didn't give me the option to use my 2 2 year agreements upgrades with the price of 399.... instead it made me select at&t next and the price comes out to 869.. any ideas?? i guess i have to call apple or att

Im sure in the next few days they will have a way to cancel it or maybe go by your local store and as for help canceling the one you don't want. I have 2 ordered because I don't know which color I wanted. Going to cancel the other one when I choose.

Apple no longer offers the 2 year upgrade from att in store or online, you have to go to AT&T only to receive the 2 year agreement from what I was told the other day by a apple employee.

ATT authorized retailers of which apple is a part of are not allowed to do 2 year agreements anymore. Has to be done through the att website or a corporate store to do the 2 year upgrade that has been a recent change in att policy so im not surprised you don't know about it.

Before anybody asks I know because I work for att mobility so yeah...

i called att the other day and the sales rep said no matter where i purchase it, either through att or apple the upgrade would be applied I'm just confused to why it didn't give me that option
 
Show up and say you want to do the upgrade program. That's my plan and I'm sticking to it
I wish that was an option but I'm in China until Oct 10. Im gonna have my dad do the iPhone upgrade program for me, but I want to cancel an appt to make a new one for Oct. 2 Reservations is the max
