What's with your drama queen act? I've been dealing with Apple for well over a decade and this isn't something they do. Combine that fact with an email thats obviously automated and anyone with a brain can discern that something might not be right. Chill. Like I said before, if I'm right I get to mock you, and if I'm wrong I get my phone a day early.
iPhone will deliver on June 23rd email proof....

Like alot of you, I too, was surprised to receive the email from Apple this morning stating that my phone would be delivered on the 23rd in stead of the 24th.
I have no doubt the email is real as a number of people have also received the same email.
I really believe Apple sees it in their best interest to roll out the phones as soon as possible to alleviate some of the already-enormous pressure their servers are experiencing with people upgrading to the new iOS4.
On Wednesday we will know for sure. This is the first time I did a pre-order and it has been interesting to follow a number of threads around this whole event!

So Apple email says 23 and says it will deliver on the 23 even if Fedex has a later date. my fedex says 430pm on the 24 and it is still in transit in Alaska. I need to work remote that day as the package will come to my home. Do you think it will actualy come on the 23rd?
i have fedex but i assume youll get it tomorrow since its a next day air. its already in memphis today so i think youll be fine

It still says it's in Anchorage, AK. However, they usually start moving your order around in the morning but don't update the system until the afternoon.
So who knows where it is.

Yeah i hope so haha... i wonder why they shipped mine through UPS, i like fed ex alot better and havnt seen too many others that have gone through UPS.
I think that, according to this e-mail, it'll be at your place tomorrow. You have the ability to pre-sign for it... which is a good option if you live in a house with a front porch or something, or if you trust your neighbors.
But, honestly, as you can see here, there's a debate on whether or not this is true. So, there's really no right answer here yet. By noon today, if Apple hasn't refuted this e-mail, then I think we should all have our 'official' answer.

Which goes to show you that not all Apple reps know the same thing. A few posts back someone said they called Apple and they confirmed the 23rd as the delivery date.
So, again, this is like Best Buy, and no one really knowing anything until it happens.

I got the email too but won't be home tomorrow to receive delivery. I'm assuming they will just try again on the 24th right?

Well fudge, i'm off work all day Wednesday, but work on Thursday and since it was supposed to be the 24th I'm having our phones delivered to my workplace. Looks like I'll be making a special trip tomorrow
They try three times!
My tracking still says the 24th, but I received the email saying it will deliver early. My phone is in Memphis now, so I'm looking forward to getting it tomorrow. Nice to see that some preorders will arrive before stores start selling this time.

AT&T probably received a huge shipment from Apple to their warehouse and is then sending it out themselves, so they're sending it out via UPS.
Apple always uses Fedex and it would have come straight from China (and not via next day air).
I got this email too, and my FedEx tracking agrees with the June 23rd delivery date. I'm excited if this is true. But, is anyone concerned about the mistakes in the email?
Title: "Your iPhone will deliver on June 23rd" instead of, "your iPhone will be delivered" or "will arrive" or something more correct.
Also, in the body of the email: "you can check the FedEx website the morning of the June 23rd". Why "the" June 23rd? Also, no link to the FedEx website.
I'm probably reading way too much into this, I just couldn't help noticing these strange mistakes. Perhaps the Apple Store Team is just a bit overwhelmed at the moment.
