@Jaggrey lol, I too looked for the Evutec at Target around me after watching that video. Seems very slim, yet protective and possibly thinner than any of the bumpers we have. We could go into business together and sell all of the iPhone X cases we have purchased and don’t use.

Lol that’s so true! I go thru this with every new phone. Drives my wife crazy... lol

Which one do you like the most and why?
So far here is my opinion on the bumpers I have:
RS Mod: imo it is close to perfect. It looks great, nice matte finish. Fit is great and it’s easy to install and remove. The only problem is it is slippery. Has zero grip. So when I’m holding it in my left hand, it’s hard to hold for a long period.
TT K11: Really nice, fits great. Easy installation, for me difficult to remove. Holding it hand is less comfortable because it has a squareish shape. But it does provide enough grip. Buttons are much better on the new version. The company provides great customer service.
MO Fusion: I didn’t really give it a fair chance. I had it on my X for less than 10 minutes. The back is level with the camera bump so when laying flat, the bumper and camera bump touches the table. Sapphire or not, I only use a case so I can set my phone down anywhere without worry. I used to carry my phones naked and always carried a cloth or a sleeve and would place my phone on the sleeve. Ok, I’m a little OCD. I’m just tired of being so careful.
Utomic EDGEs: they sent me the wrong color. When they sent the correct ones, they let me keep the originals. I tested them for a few days. They are honestly great. Only provide drop protection so you’re still prone to scratches. The only problem for me was that they are permanent. And how can I continue to waste money on cases if I can’t test them? So I’m waiting for a couple of more cases to arrive and then I’ll possibly install the replacements.

So far, as far as bumpers go I give my vote to the K11. It looks great, is very protective and the company just makes me want to like them.

In general that does happen, yes. In this case I believe the cases that I was under the impression were being designed for me were cases the factory already produced and rebrands for other buyers. It is what it is at this point, but the bottom line is that the cases are truly awesome and I'm extremely excited to be able to offer them for sale, can't wait to hear some more thoughts and reviews as you guys start receiving them.

if you haven't checked them out, please do so, I also created a new code for MacRumors folks that is valid until the end of the year... i think you're going to like the discount! I appreciate everyones comments and support through this whole process!

Discount for Nova case: NOVA-MR

How important is the back screen, and how easy is it to install.

I've had a set of Utomic Edges sitting in the box for about 3 weeks for the very same reason! I keep changing bumpers and know once I put the Edges on I'll only be wasting them as I'l pull them off to slap on a new bumper...too funny!

Really easy just need to use our EZ application spray or fill a spray bottle with water and a drop or 2 of liquid dishwashing soap. We have YouTube videos of how to install our skins, just follow along with those!

Imo not really necessary to use, I personally don't, but if you want protection and peace of mind just in case then I'd recommend them.

@blue rocket, I just placed my order for the Nova bumper and glass protectors (front/back). I look forward to trying it out. It looks like one of the best bumpers for the iPhone X. Im hoping it ships soon.

just for clarification, our rear protector is a vinyl skin, not glass. We don't offer any front screen protectors at this time. Your order should ship out today, let us know what you think when you get it!!

Got my Thanotech K11 in the mail today and the packaging was missing the included back protector. I'm a bit disappointed since I'm one of those people who aren't comfortable using a bumper without a back protector :(

I've reached out to their support team, and I assume they'll make it right. Seems like Thanotech is pretty responsive based on the posts in this thread.

I got my replacement today from ThanoTech; did you check underneath the front packaging? You have to lift up the front part, the back protectors should be in there.

HUGE difference between the "new" production run and the original, the buttons are 100 times easier to press and I don't feel the sharp edges by the lighting port when holding one hand.

Nice work ThanoTech!!

Damn. Did you ask for a replacement or did you have to buy another one??

I know the area of the packaging you’re talking about, and it definitely was not in there. I practically tore the packaging of the K11 and the shipping box it was sent in apart looking for the back protector before decided to reach out to their support team.

Their customer service is as good as I've experienced anywhere, they'll get you that rear protector!

Good to hear! That’s the vibe I was getting from other people in this thread who reached out to their support team. I’m just a little disappointed I won’t be comfortable using the bumper for another week or so... sigh

Is this a 3rd bumper or something else?

I got the jet black one. See photos attached (sry for quality, used old iPhone). It does not protect the front of the screen when you lay it face down - there's a lip but it's very small.
I just received mine from the site you recommended in Jet Black. It took a long time but it arrived in perfect condition. It looks exactly like the Lunar. Have you experienced any signal degradation?
