Looks like my message and your response have been removed for some reason. To follow on, I think only the ears on the back are TPU not the inside. I am not sure silicone is going to offer much protection. Have you put your iPhone X in the case and dropped it from 9 feet?

I am not trying to be rude, its just that 9 feet is a pretty bold claim.

I got my Nova bumper today. Love the fit and feel. I am also slightly skeptical about the 9ft drop protection. Also it doesnt seem to have any lip on the front if it is face down on a table. I have the iCarez 2.5D glass on the front and seems like it makes contact with table when face down. Anyone else received their Nova yet and able to chime in?

I received mine last week. I’ve been busy with the holidays and will post a detailed review soon.

My first impressions:

-love the design. Probably my favorite bumper to date
-superior fit and feel over the Lunar
-just enough front lay on the table lip with my Belkin anti-glare screen protector

Happy New Year!

I just got Tachnotech bumper. I love it. I can use my iPhone X like using without a case but feel my phone protected. No issues so far. I love it because the gorgeous stunning flashing silver back iPhone is exposed, bare and touchable directly like without a case. Thanks to TachnoTech for inventing a great iPhone protective bumper.

Can we use a 3D glass screen protector with the K11 bumper?

I asked them......very, very nicely :)
I did not have to buy another one.

You mean the K11 bumper for the iPHone x has 2 versions? I have one and how to find out which version I have?

Look inside the bumper where the volume buttons are; if you see one strip of plastic, that was the first production run. The 2nd production run has two individual button covers.

Anyone use bumper with rear glass protector?
Just wondering how it fit together

I'm using the K11 bumper with the rear glass protector that was included with it. They fit together fine, but then again the protector doesn't go close to the edges of the phone. I don't think the rear protector is all that important since the bumper protrudes past the phone surface and I don't really like the look of it. I think I'll end up taking it off.

I no longer use the back protector. I do use a screen protector for scratch protection but that’s it. The bumper seems fairly protective. No give on the corners. Seems to me the front and back glass would be protected from most drops (within reason).

I totally agree.

I thought the back was also a scratching magnet?

I wanted to update you all on my current setup. I am still waiting to receive my Lunar bumper, which will be the last case I hopefully get for this iPhone. I have basically settled with a Nodus Collection Access Case 3 together with the Utomic EDGEs. You can read my thoughts and see some photos here (scroll down to 4th post):

I took a little break from case hunting' trying to accessorize my new MBP =)

I'm still in the hunt for a back glass protector with rounded edges for our bumper cases. Any luck?

Congrats on the new MBP (saw your posts over in that forum). I’ve been lurking over there for a while, I have a 12” MB but am debating a 13 or a 15 refurb or just waiting. My 12.9 IPP does most of my heavy lifting so I’ll probably hang on to the MB until the 208 refresh.

When does that D brand grip start shipping? Im pretty interested in that. That with a skin looks pretty cool and protective.

Thank you. Might as well wait for the next release, correct. I say go for a new base 15 :) Just stop buying phone cases effective today! Haha

It’s supposed to start shipping at the end of January, but the X version is way down on the list. They posted a production list of devices, I just looked for it and couldn’t find it, but it showed a lot of other phones being produced before the X. They are making the Grip for older phones first. They said they already had the molds ready for older phones. With Chinese New Year my guess is it won’t be out anytime soon. Hopefully I’m wrong.

A bunch of youtubers already have the grip for the X, so they will probably will be the first to ship (dbrand would be dumb not to), dbrand is kind of a sketchy company, I wouldn’t believe all they say, but the case does look pretty cool, might be a little bulky though...

I am currently rocking the Incipio Octane Light in Glossy White for my Silver X. Here it is with my first iPhone, a white 16 gb 4S in the official white apple bumper. The case feels sturdy on the phone and has is so far the closest bumper to the original iPhone 4 bumper that I could find for the X. The Bumper cost my 30 dollars on amazon and is so far my favorite bumper/case for the X. Link:octane-light-iphone-x-case.html

Damn, that does bring back memories! The branding kills it for me though :( How are the buttons?

Currently rocking this bumper from grfxp.com, i opted for the high-gloss black to pair with the silver X, it's really nice and so thin it feels like it's barely there. Currently my go-to case.

The branding has not bothered me but I will say that the volume rocker is rather stiff, but it isn’t a huge bother for me.
