Isn't that for upgrades? SIM FREE handsets is only £10 in which case TopCashback is better at £20, unless you're signing up for a contract.
Yep mine is contract (my work pays for most of a contract but won’t contribute up front).

How is it that so many people can afford the $1800 256gb iPhone X?
You guys must be earning around $200K a year.
Or are you doing what a lot of YouTubers are doing and asking subscribers for money/donations to fund their purchase of the iPhone X?

Man, I wish I had the money to buy the 256gb iPhone X. :(
Maybe I need to set up a YouTube account and get subscribers to fund me or set up a GoFundMe page....
It’s literally 10 dollars more per month than the iPhone 7.

It’s funny to think how “hot” and in demand this phone is today. In 10 months everyone will say how outdated and dull it is when an incrementally better one is around the corner. Rinse and repeat.

So I was only able to get 2-3 weeks from Apple at 3:10am EST - but ATT has the silver 64gb in stock for November 3rd as of this morning - I ordered and it went through - now wondering if I should cancel my Apple order... How can ATT still have them in stock for Nov 3rd delivery? I wonder if I can keep both orders active until one starts to ship and then cancel the other...

Same thing I found. I am cancelling my order with Apple this morning. I think this happened with my 7 maybe and worked out ok. Got it on launch day from ATT after cancelling Apple order.

It’s because no more of the ugly white front bezel. My last white phone was 3GS. Now that it has been removed the aesthetics of the white phone are at the apex.

11/3 white 256gb here of course
Nice! I’m in the 11/17-24 window.

Haha no one wants to buy it on Sprint’s crap network.

Sprint is for people who are trying to save money, and choose not to spend >$1000 on a cellphone.

If I were buying an X, I sure wouldn't be on Sprint.

That's funny in an all-to-real sad way that no one wants the Sprint phones.

I don't even hate the notch or anything, but in terms of actual features there's just not much of a difference between the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. :)

I think the smaller screen to body ratio is a winner for me. Can't stand the thick bezels. I am using Galaxy S8 and it feels so much easier to use then other similar screen sized past generations.

Most people aren’t actually buying their phones. They’re leasing them under 1-2 year contracts.

Ordered this morning when I got up. Ordered at 7:30 a.m. EDT and got 5 to 6 week delivery as well. So that delivery time seems to have settled in for a while. Many folks who are getting 5 to 6 week estimates will probably get theirs earlier.

"You sure you wanna invite this party-poopah to poop on your party?" - From Trolls. Haha :D

Do you drive a beige Volvo by any chance?

You say there is no reason to upgrade but you are looking at that from the biased point of view of someone who just bought an iPhone 8 plus a few weeks ago. While I'm sure there will be some iPhone 8/8 plus owners who are buying iPhone X today, I suspect most are upgrading from older phones in which case the upgrade is much more compelling.

IMO, getting a higher res OLED screen and dual OIS are pretty big features but when you add in the rest of the iPhone X features, it's not too much of a stretch to go that extra €240 or whatever it is, especially when spread over 2 years. That's €10 a month or around 30 cents a day.

As for the "stress" you speak of, well I'm sure I'm not the only one who woke up 5 mins before launch, started and killed the Apple Store app for a few minutes then grabbed the preset 'favourite', hit Apple Pay and went back to sleep with a 3rd Nov delivery date. Not trying to troll those folks who didn't have such a smooth experience but for at least some of us upgraders, this is not a stressful experience, at least until the credit card bill comes in...
You were lucky the Apple Store loaded for you at 3:01... for some of us it didn’t load for 9mins after launch! So yes, it is pretty stressful because for two years in a row now some of us first IUP customers are getting shafted in the preorder process. I’m going to make damn sure Apple hears about it and sorts me out for next Friday!

The site and app did not open for me until 3:04ish. I had two iPad's and a phone trying. I managed to get one of each color, 256, for a 11/10 date.

When I first filled up my order on Apple.com (it was ready earlier than app in France) at 09.06 am it said already 5/6 weeks, for any model and color.... then luckily I remembered that I still had to check for in store pick up and... BANG! Got my grey 256gb for November third!! Few minutes later alsoall pick up options were gone.

This makes me wonder how they divide allotments for the various kinds of delivery.... how is it possible that same product was already “sold out” for home delivery, but still available to pick up in store??

Thanks for your opinions and please excuse me for my poor English.

BTW.... can’t wait for my baby to arrive now!!!

Has anyone with the Apple Store "Your iPhone has been reserved." and reservation number, unable carrier system blah blah actually gotten an email yet? I didn't screen capture the res number, figuring it would be emailed to me too. I got nothing.

"Customers who are hoping to get an iPhone X on launch day but weren't able to get a pre-order in early enough can try their luck waiting in line for a new device on launch day, Friday November 3."

Correction. You will NOT get one if you wait in line on November 3.
It will be old school style of waiting in line for almost a week ahead!

This was all a response to wall street complaints that there were no more lines at stores. Tim was like ok sure we can fix that here sprinkle some X all over the stores and boom instant line waits and here goes the stock price up up and up and away. We are simply pawns in a game between Tim and Wall Street in this fight. Angela was right just let them order them in advance lines are the enemy.

There were definitely some anomalies in the ordering process overnight. For example, orders placed through carriers were going through ten minutes before the store was supposed to go live, and the iPhone app didn't come up for me until about 10 minutes past the hour. Once I got in, my IUP order was very quick, apart from not being able to specify store pick up at home—I'm out of town and the app only showed stores near my hotel.

TBH, I would have been disappointed if I got a 5-6 week ship date, but I expected it to be even longer for late orders. Either supply was higher than some analysts were predicting or demand was lower.

I've had Sprint for years now and haven't had a problem. If the T-Mobile merger happens then it will be even better.

Same except with T-Mobile. People either didn’t think to go to the carriers or they got pretty large allocations. TMo still shows launch day delivery for 64 silver and no config over a one week wait.

I too have a Reservation number (AT&T). My number was received both in a message and an email. But when I will hear from Apple and how my number relates to an actual ship date, ah, now that remains a mystery.

My reservations are still just that 5 hours later, the carriers seem to be the roadblock.
[doublepost=1509106136][/doublepost]Got my email time stamped 5:42, with reservation #. Still waiting
