Apple is rushing this phone out. It’s like they fell asleep after the iPhone 7 release, no direction and just came up with some last minute ideas trying to catch up to Samsung. Everything is just FAIL right now.
I say they just wait until next September and bring out a product that is going to lead us into the next gen of smartphones.

I might have to because I just read how emergency SOS is to be implemented on the X. It's different than on iPhone 8 and under an emergency, my coordination tends to go to crap and I probably won't be able to manage it. I can, however, do the five clicks on the power button. I also want an unlocked phone from the beginning. Oh well I have time to figure this all out.
Ordering something doesn't mean Apple will get it.

Maybe with all these delays Apple will have time to redesign and remove that ugly notch. Bonus if they can make the camera flush, centered and with a camera housing color that matches the back of the phone so it isn't an eyesore.

They'll have very low and limited stock for sale 2-3 months after the device was revealed.
And 6-7 months later they might have the wireless charging pads available too and those will have a 3-4 week ETA.

On the other hand this could all be FAKE NEWS with Apple trying to push people to buy the 8’s. Who knows...
I remember my iPhone 6 unlocked purchase. Two sales rep were fighting as they both had promised their customers "there might be one in the back". It was hilarious as I could hear them from the Genius Bar.

at full production, you could expect at least 10x that amount.
i mean, let's give a lower estimate of Apple selling 50,000,000 iPhone X in a year...
50,000,000 ÷ 365(days) = 137,000 units needing to be made per day in order to reach that mark..
50k units per day = only 18,250,000 iPhone X for the year..
that would be one of the largest financial blunders ever..

So... where did that 10,000 a day number come from? Obviously the analyst got the information from somewhere.
If not... why would they make up such a comically low number?
Apple has been able to produce 800,000+ total iPhones per day in previous years.
So to think that they could produce only 10,000 per day of their newest premium flagship... well it sounded fishy.
But again... that number came from somewhere. I hope they were tragically wrong.
8 Plus for me. May not be the best design wise, but still has HDR. Back camera with portrait features. Same processor and ram. Same low light stuff.
Also the 8 Plus isn't going to be as hard to get as a 7+ was.. Plus that black model looks real sexy and almost Jet Black like. If not better cause of the scratch resistant glass.
Just get it! If you're in Canada or USA, Target has no restocking fees. If you don't like it before the 2 weeks is up.. you can swap it and go back on your old plan. No hassles!

They do seem to be pushing the 8’s. I got an email prior to preorder date telling me to go get my credit check done now to be ready for the 8. All the way down the page at 3/4 scale was a mention of the x.
B/c it would've taken away from iPhone 8 sales. Apple wanted a staggered release, instead of pushing everything out at once. It would be like Samsung releasing the S8+ and Note 8 at the same time. Or Sony releasing the PS4 and PS4 Pro at the same time. Like I said before, every year these production horror stories appear online and every year I still get my phone on or around launch day. Remember the elusive gold 5S that was supposed to be backordered until January of 2014? I got mine a few days after the launch day. Remember the 6 Plus that was supposedly having production problems? Got my phone on launch day. The Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus that wasnt gonna be readily available until weeks and weeks and weeks after the holidays? Got my phone a week after launch day.
My point? This guy is full of crap. You honestly think Apple would wait mere weeks from arguably the biggest smartphone launch in history, to start producing iPhone Ten's? This is Apple aka the most valuable and powerful brand in the world. This isn't Little Susie's summer lemonade stand. No way in hell would Apple have set a release date if they didn't already have an idea of iPhone stock and a plan to get iPhones shipped out. Everything will work out. Folks just need to calm down
Next year, the production horror stories will continue. This is almost like a tradition, heading into preorder time.
